Alexa Bliss, born Alexis “Lexi” Kaufman, is one of the WWE Superstars who was a part of the women’s revolution in professional wrestling. Since joining the WWE main roster after time at the WWE Performance Center and developmental brand NXT, Bliss wasted no time becoming one of the top and most successful stars in the division.
Bliss is the first WWE star to hold the SmackDown Women’s Championship two times, before moving to the Raw brand in 2017. There, she won the Raw Women’s Championship, making her the first-ever woman to hold both the Raw and SmackDown titles.
The 26-year-old continued her record-breaking ways in 2018, winning the first-ever women’s Elimination Chamber match.
Bliss, who starred on season 7 of WWE’s reality series Total Divas, draws inspiration for her in-ring looks from the likes of Harley Quinn, The Riddler, Supergirl, and more thanks to her love of cosplay.
Outside of the ring, Bliss is real-life friends with her in-ring rival Nia Jax while also being engaged to fellow pro wrestler Matthew Adams, who performs in NXT under the name Buddy Murphy and is a one-time NXT Tag Team Champion with Wesley Blake.
Bliss recently lost the WWE Raw Women’s Championship and is set to challenge current champion Nia Jax for the title on Sunday, May 6 at WWE Backlash which takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The two previously faced off at WrestleMania 34, with Jax defeating Bliss to claim the title.
