Elisabeth Moss, often considered to be the “Queen of Peak TV”, has appeared in some of the most successful shows of the last 15 years. In the early 2000’s, Moss starred on The West Wing as Zoey Bartlet, the youngest daughter of President Josiah Bartlet. Following The West Wing, Moss began portraying Peggy Olson on the award-winning AMC series Mad Men (2007–2015), which earned her six Emmy Awards nominations and a Golden Globe nomination. Following Mad Men, Moss portrayed Det. Robin Griffin in the BBC miniseries Top of the Lake, which won her a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Miniseries or TV Film.
Beginning in 2017, Moss began receiving critical acclaim for her portrayal of Offred on the award-winning Hulu series The Handmaid’s Tale. For her work on The Handmaid’s Tale, Moss won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series as a producer.
While Moss may be best known for her towering television performances, she has also known for her work in the films Girl, Interrupted, Virgin, Listen Up Philip, The One I Love, Truth, Queen of Earth, Get Him to the Greek, and The Square.
In 2018, in addition to reprising her role as Offred in season 2 of The Handmaid’s Tale, Moss will be starring in the films The Seagull and The Old Man and the Gun.
At just 35-years-old and a litany of awards under her belt, Moss figures to be a mainstay in Hollywood for some time to come.
