WrestleMania weekend is in full swing, meaning its time for NXT TakeOver: New Orleans at Smoothie King Center on Saturday night. The NXT roster will look to once again steal the show on the biggest weekend of the year for WWE with one of the most stacked cards in the promotion’s history. Four NXT Championships will be on the line throughout the night, including the debut of the NXT North American Championship.
Andrade “Cien” Almas will defend his NXT Championship against Aleister Black in the latest installment of their rivalry, while Ember Moon puts her title on the line against former UFC fighter Shayna Baszler.
Adam Cole, EC3, Killian Dain, Lars Sullivan, Richochet and Velveteen Dream square off in a ladder match for the inaugural NXT North American Championship, while The Undisputed Era, The Authors of Pain and Roderick Strong with Pete Dunne face off in a triple-threat tag team match for the NXT Tag Team Championship and Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic trophy.
In the lone non-title match of the night, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa square off in an unsanctioned match. If Gargano wins, he will be reinstated to NXT. If Ciampa wins, Gargano will be banned from NXT forever.
