Michael Jordan is one of the most popular athletes ever not only because of the fantastic career he had in the NBA but also because of his awesome signature sneakers. In 1984 Nike signed a young MJ to a five-year deal and as they say the rest is history. In 1997 Nike launched Jordan Brand as an official sub-brand, MJ’s Jumpman logo would be added to a collection of sports and casual wear. The initial athletes to join the Jordan Brand back in ’97 were Ray Allen, Vin Baker, Derek Anderson, Eddie Jones and Michael Finley. Now in 2018, the Jorda/ Tran Brand is packed with stars from all sports led by NBA reigning MVP Russell Westbrook, who just debuted his own signature sneaker with Jordan.
