Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw will be headlined by a main event tag team championship match featuring The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) defending their titles against a hungry Shield (Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose). Which team will come out on top? My money is on The Shield since Sheamus has been dealing with a nagging neck injury for six months. This will be a perfect time to get the titles off The Bar so Sheamus can heal and Cesaro can break off on his own.
Speaking of The Shield, “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns will also put his title on the line tonight and Jason Jordan has already accepted the open challenge for The Big Dog’s Intercontinental Championship.
“Roman Reigns. If that open challenge is still being issued then I would love to accept,” said Jordan in a video message released Sunday night. “I saw you gave Elias a chance last week and you guys had a hell of a match but I beat him too. So this week why don’t you put that title on the line against me and we’ll find out whose yard it really is.”
“The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman will once again step into the ring to battle “The Big Red Machine” Kane tonight in what is sure to be a slobber-knocker!
We’ll also get a healthy dose of cruiserweight action tonight as the WWE Universe is treated to a fatal 4-way between Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali, Drew Gulak and Tony Nese. The winner goes onto to face Rich Swann to determine the #1 contender for Enzo Amore’s WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
And what’s next for Absolution, the villainous team made up of Paige, Many Rose, and Sonya Deville? Tonight, Paige will be battling “The Boss” Sasha Banks. And her girls, Rose and Deville, will probably not be too far behind.
