Her full name is Elsa Anna Sofie Hosk. She was born on November 7, 1988, in Stockholm, Sweden. Hosk first began her career in modeling at the age of 14. She mostly concentrated on her studies throughout high school, but she did contribute some noteworthy work for the clothing company Guess, and other companies. After she graduated, she switched from modeling to sports as she became a member of the Swedish women’s basketball league. After two years of playing basketball, Hosk went back to modeling where she became world-famous.
The 29-year-old supermodel has appeared on the cover of numerous publications throughout her career including, Elle, Hasper’s Bazaar, Vogue, and Maxim. She was used as the image for marketing campaigns for Balmain, Moschino, Alberta Ferretti; Dolce & Gabbanna, Guess?, and Dior (Hosk also modeled for each and every one of these companies).
