At 8-0, the University of Central Florida Golden Knights and their high-powered offense are one of the best stories in college football.

On December 1, 2015, Scott Frost was hired as the head football coach at UCF. Frost replaced longtime coach George O’Leary and interim head coach Danny Barrett, who took over the Knights when O’Leary resigned following an 0-8 start.

Frost has almost immediately turned around the UCF program (see: 8-0), making him one of the hottest coaching candidates in the country. And if this video is any indication, it’s no surprise that Frost is such a desirable coach — his kids clearly love him:

Frost played six years in the NFL with the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was the starting quarterback for Tom Osborne’s undefeated 1997 Nebraska Cornhuskers team.

He is expected to be a candidate for the head coaching jobs at Florida, Tenessee, and Nebraska.

At 8-0, the Golden Knights are currently ranked #18 in the latest College Football Top 25.
