Miami FL vs. Virginia Tech Live Stream: How to Watch NCAA Football Online

After nine weeks of college football, there is a contest between two ACC teams who have exceeded preseason expectation. These teams are the Miami Hurricanes and the Virginia Tech Hokies. Both teams started the season with bowl game expectations but no one expected Miami to be competing for a national championship. Virginia Tech was expected to compete for an ACC title and those expectations are still achievable at this point in the season. With both teams being desperate for a key victory, expect this game to be extremely close.

The Miami Hurricanes entered the season with several question marks. The largest issue was the departure of starting quarterback Brad Kaaya. Kaaya, in his college career, had 69 touchdown passes and over 9,000 yards passing. Replacing him was going to be extremely difficult for the Hurricanes until they stumbled upon junior quarterback Malik Rosier. So far this season, Rosier has 17 touchdown and only four interception. His mobility and throwing accuracy are a lethal combo that helps keep defenses on their toes whenever he touches the ball. If Miami plans on winning this difficult home game, Rosier will need to play extremely well. This game is especially important for Miami considering the fact that they still have to play Notre Dame this season. With that difficult matchup on the horizon, Miami cannot afford to drop this game.

Virginia Tech’s success is due to quarterback Josh Jackson. This season, Jackson has thrown for 17 touchdowns and only four interception. Jackson’s accuracy is a huge reason for the team’s success and that trend will need to continue if the Hokies plan on pulling off this minor upset. Another reason for the Hokies’ success is their stifling defense. At this moment in the season, Virginia Tech is only allowing 11.5 points per game which is the second lowest in all of college football.

As for my prediction, I have to side with Virginia Tech. Although Rosier looks like a solid quarterback, I think that Virginia Tech’s defense will slow him down and limit Miami on offense throughout the course of this contest. I expect Jackson to play extremely well as he leads this Virginia Tech team to a tough victory on the road.
