Two 7-1 teams will be going head-to-head next Saturday in a Big 12 match that should go down to the very end. The Oklahoma Sooners will be heading to Stillwater to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys where the latter remains a 3-point favorite. The main reason being their home field advantage as the offense and defense of both these teams are very evenly matched. At this point in the season, the Cowboys are averaging 44.5 points per game with 24.4 points allowed. In very similar fashion, the Sooners are scoring 42.9 points with 25.3 points allowed. After winning four of their last five games, both teams will be looking for their eighth win of the season

While the Cowboys are given the home field advantage this Saturday, it may not seem as much of advantage when we look at the Sooner’s recent history with road games. Oklahoma has not lost a road game since October 2014 which should spell some trouble for the Cowboys. Led by rookie head coach Lincoln Riley, the Sooner’s find themselves at 5-1 ATS in their last six games with the Cowboys. They look to continue their efforts behind stud quarterback Baker Mayfield who is completing 72.5% of his passes and has not thrown less than one touchdown in each of his last 21 games. On the other side of the ball linebacker, Emmanuel Beal is leading the team with 52 tackles and defensive end Ogbonnia Okoronkwo already has 7 sacks to his name.

Mike Gundy and his team of the past 13 years continues his efforts to earn his first National Championship as a head coach. With both a conference and conference division title on his resume, Gundy should be ready to prove his potential as National Champion. Out of their last 8 games, the Cowboys have won 7 with big thanks to quarterback’s Mason Rudolph’s 2,866 yards and 22 touchdowns on the season. Sophomore running back Justice Hill is leading the run game with 836 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Saturday’s contest should be as close as they come with two teams that resemble each other statistically as well as in their style of play. You could live stream the game in the following way.
