Rose McGowan can be a good witch (like in Charmed) or a bad witch (like in Once Upon a Time) depending on the role she’s in, but recent events tell us that the real McGowan is still a force to be reckoned with. The actress has recently made headlines for speaking out against sexism and sexual abuse within the entertainment industry, coming out how she had been raped by a powerful figure in Hollywood. As The Los Angeles Times said in an article, “No one took Rose McGowan’s claims seriously. Now everyone is listening.” Even when she was silenced on social media, a boycott came to her defense. To show our support of McGowan, let’s look at her work in the industry.

Rose McGowan’s net worth is $18.0 million

According to Earn the Necklace, McGowan’s current net worth is $18.0 million. In 2012, her net worth was $10,857,143; $15,200,000 in 2013; $16,521,739 in 2014 and $19,000,000 in 2015.

The Early Years

McGowan was born in Certaldo, Italy to American parents, and came to the United States when she was 10 years old. At 15 years old, she left her parents’ home and tried to start her career in Hollywood.

1992-2000

Her first acting role was in the 1992 comedy, Encino Man. One of her biggest breakout hits, however, was Tatum Riley in the 1996 movie, Scream. Other movie roles that came soon after for McGowan include Going All The Way in 1997, Devil in the Flesh in 1998 and Ready to Rumble in 2000. Rose McGowan also became the face of a clothing line, “Bebe,” from 1998 to 1999.

2001-Present

A role that helped make McGowan a household name was the good witch, Paige Matthews, in 2001 the fantasy series, Charmed, a role she lasted in until the show’s end in 2006. Other television roles include Nip/Tuck in 2009, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2011 and a few appearances as Cora in the fantasy series, Once Upon a Time, in 2013 and 2014.
