The NFL just wasn’t right without Beast Mode, but now he’s back and better than ever — both on the field and with his pissing-off-the-NFL ways.

Since retiring in 2015, the NFL has just seemed less … fun … without Marshawn Lynch. But luckily for football fans, because the Oakland Raiders decided to become the Las Vegas Raiders, Marshawn decided he wanted to lace them back up one last time for his hometown Oakland team. And it took him less than one game to make his mark back on the NFL landscape.

During the 4th-quarter of the Raiders opening game against the Titans, Marshawn did as Marshawn does, flipping the double birds to the camera:

Of course, the NFL was having none of it, fining Lynch $12,000.

via ESPN:

The NFL fined Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch $12,000 for a hand gesture he made during Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans, a league source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter. CBS cameras caught Lynch raising the middle finger on both hands in the fourth quarter.

Sunday’s game marked Lynch’s regular-season return to the NFL after sitting out the 2016 season in retirement. He unretired after being traded by the Seattle Seahawks to his hometown Raiders in the offseason.

He rushed for 76 yards on 18 carries Sunday, setting the tone for the Raiders with his bruising running style in Oakland’s 26-16 victory.

Even at 31-years-old and a year out of the NFL, Beast Mode looked spry in his NFL return, rushing for 76 yards on 18 carries.
