Earlier this week, the late Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow, shared her first photo on social media in almost a year.
Posted without a caption, the Instagram photo shows the 18-year-old from the waist up wearing a white halter top. Shading her eyes from the sun with her hand, Meadow is staring right at the camera.
Paul’s Fast & Furious co-star Tyrese Gibson commented on the picture, writing, “Hello angel. Sending love and light.”
Many of Walker’s 1.3 million followers commented with positive messages as well.
The last time she posted something was July 20, 2016, when she shared a throwback picture of herself and her dad swimming when she was a toddler. In the caption, she promoted the Paul Walker Foundation which she launched in September 2015 in hi honor. She included a link to a contest to hang out on the set of The Fate of the Furious last year.
Paul Walker died in a car accident on November 30, 2013, when he friend Roger Rodas crashed a Porsche. The accident came just two months after Paul’s 40th birthday. At the time, he was nearly finished with his filming on Furious 7. The remainder of his scenes were finished using his brothers Cale and Cody along with some digital assistance.
