Explosions and gunfire at Brussels Central Train station. Police and military on the scene. Belgian police say a person with an explosive belt has been neutralized at Brussels Central Station. A bomb unit has arrived on scene and police say the situation is under control.
According to a senior Belgian law enforcement official, one suspect was shot by the military. He was ‘seriously injured’ after he was ‘neutralized’.
The suspect was allegedly carrying a backpack and a belt of explosives.
There are no other injuries or casualties.
