







Krista Voda is an American sportscaster with a special focus in auto racing. The 42-year-old Iowa native was a pit reporter for NASCAR on Fox and was the host of The Setup, the pre-race show for coverage of the Camping World Truck Series, in addition to Trackside on Fox Sports 1. Voda also served as a fill-in sideline reporter for the NFL on Fox.
Voda began her NASCAR broadcasting career in 2003 as co-anchor of Totally NASCAR on Fox Sports Net. She also co-hosted NASCAR Nation when the show previously aired on the Speed Channel. Before transitioning to FSN, she worked for local TV stations in Iowa and Kentucky, including WLEX, the NBC affiliate in Lexington.
Voda will be the host of the 2017 Kentucky Derby held in Louisville, Kentucky. The race is known in the U.S. as “The Most Exciting Two Minutes In Sports” or “The Fastest Two Minutes in Sports.” This year’s race will be the 143rd running and is set for Saturday, May 6, 2017 with a $2 million guaranteed purse.
