Known as the wife of one of the most dominant basketball players in the world (Russell Westbrook), Nina Westbrook, 28, has emerged as a devoted advocate for her husband. Nina Attended UCLA where she was an English major. Like her husband, Nina was also a phenomenal basketball player as she saw ample playing time during her freshman year. She started in 15 games and scored in double figures on 11 occasions.
Nina’s impressive athletic abilities run within the family as her cousin is Hall of Fame safety Kenny Easley. Like Nina, Kenny also attended UCLA and had an illustrious career while he played football there.
Nina is also extremely active as a philanthropist as she and her husband started the “Russell Westbrook Why Not? Foundation.” According to the foundation’s website, the goal is “to teach kids to never give up.” Nina and Russell also volunteer around Thanksgiving to serve meals to the Boys and Girls Club in Oklahoma.
