Tiger Woods hasn’t been doing too well in the world of golf, but we can’t say the same for his dating game. Meet Kristin Smith, a beautiful 32-year-old blonde bombshell who’s also a celebrity stylist. She is like the umpteenth blonde that Tiger has dated in his lifetime. But Smith’s no newbie either. She’s the mother of a boy and was briefly married to Dallas Cowboys player Gerald Sensabaugh.

The news of the happy couple comes from Smith’s cousin, who told RadarOnline that the relationship is “awesome.” But beyond that, there’s not much other news of the relationship. Apparently the cousin isn’t allowed to go into too much detail.

In addition to working on her own, Kristin Smith also owns a personal styling group called the CLAD Life. One of their customers is Candice Crawford, the wife of Tony Romo.

He passed away in 2002, we won the World Series, and I’ve had his old Angel hat in my bag since then. So it goes everywhere. So the one thing I’m relying on today is my dad. I held onto his hat a little bit this morning, and that’s probably the omen in a sense going into this game.

The Chicago Cubs won the World Series last night, something that hasn’t happened in 108 years. There are literally people who have lived and died without experiencing what you had the opportunity to watch last night. Multiple generations have come and gone during the Cubs’ World Series championship drought.

But through it all, the Chicago Cubs fans have stuck with their team–through thick and thin, even though most of it was definitely thin.

There were hundreds of people who recorded their reactions to the final out of the 2016 World Series, and all of them are the same: pure joy. These aren’t the reactions you’d see from Yankees fans or SF Giants fans. Not because Yankees and Giants fans don’t love their teams, but because they’ve won multiple World Series titles in recent history. These are the kinds of tears that have been building up for years. These are tears that were passed down from fathers, and even grandfathers, to their children.

And now they’re finally able to celebrate something many of them never believed would happen: the Cubs winning the World Series. Congratulations to the city of Chicago.

I’ve long said that if you’re not going to root for the same sports teams as your father, then what’s the point? At the end of the day, sports are just a bunch of people cheering for shirts and colors. Professional athletes move from team to team and never really give the fans a second thought. At the end of the day, sports are hollow. But not when you root for the same team as your father. When you root for the same team as your dad, sports becomes more than a game, it becomes a tradition. It becomes a way for your family to bond. It brings you and your father closer. That’s what sports are all about, and Wayne Williams knows that.

Wayne Williams, a North Carolina man, drove 600 miles back home to Indiana to keep a decades-old promise to his father. Williams’ father, a Navy veteran, died at age 53 in 1980.

“Got a W flag. Not supposed to fly until after the actual win,” Williams said, going over his supplies. His dad, also named Wayne Williams, was waiting for him. “I talked it out with my boys forever. I let them know that I told my dad – we had a pact. When the Cubs – not if, when – the Cubs got into the World Series, we would make sure we listen to the games together,” Williams said.

Williams set up camp in the military section of Greenwood Forest Lawn Cemetery after an all-day drive from North Carolina. “World War II, he was a signalman,” Williams said. “He was at Normandy, D-Day +8. He had not turned 18 yet.”

So not only was Williams dad a vet, but he was like THE vet, having fought in many major WWII battles. True definition of a hero.

It may have been the Navy that made his dad a Cubs fan.

“I think it was because when he was at boot camp at Great Lakes. He probably went to some games, because Wrigley’s brought the guys out there for these things and it was the closest thing to big-time baseball he’d ever seen,” Williams said.

Maybe the best part of the whole story is when WTHR asked Wayne if he thinks his father is up there following the game with him. His answer is nothing short of tear-jerking:

“Knowing him, no. He was a hell raiser, baby. He was a hell raiser,” Williams said.

So here’s to you, Wayne Williams. We’re happy for ya. Thank your father for his service, will ya?

Hell has frozen over, pigs can fly, and the Chicago Cubs won the World Series. After a 108 year drought, the “lovable losers” have finally brought back a title to Chicago after defeating the Cleveland Indians in Game 7 in what was one of the most thrilling sporting events that I have ever watched.

There was a lot of speculation that the Chicago Cubs World Series Parade would be on either Friday or Monday of next week, but Mayor Emanuel Rahm just announced at a press conference the parade will be on Friday, November 4th, 2016. There’s a lot of preparation that the city will need to take care of between now and then, but you can bet that the people living there will do whatever they can to help.

The exact time and route of the parade is still in the air, but some details are starting to come forward. The parade will start at Wrigley Field and end at Grant Park by around lunchtime. The timing of the parade works out well, because even though it’s being rushed, the public school kids have the day off for “Teacher Development Day.”

“I just talked to Tom Ricketts. I talked to him yesterday a couple times, I talked to him this morning again,” Emanuel said when asked about the parade. “I think all of us would just want 20 minutes of consistent sleep, then we’re gonna — Here’s the thing: we’re going to have a parade in Chicago that will stand the test of time. It will be a parade that 108 years have waited for. It will be a parade and a celebration that all of Chicago for 108 years in their mind’s eye, have been envisioning. We’re going to make it a reality in the city of Chicago.”

The Cubs may have waited over 100 years to finally win a championship, but the city of Chicago is no stranger to championship parades, as the Chicago Blackhawks have had three of them in the past six years.

We will keep you up to date as to when the parade is going to be held, but in the meantime enjoy the hell out of this Cubs fans. This was truly a once in a lifetime moment for a lot of you, and you deserve to soak up every second of it.

I’m back, bitches. After going 2-3 the week prior, I bounced back last week going 3-2, including hitting my Lock of the Week. That’s how you rebound (take notes Golden St Warriors and Cleveland Indians). We’re getting deeper into the College Football season, so I have a much better feel for each team now… not really, but I’ve convinced myself that I do. There’s a great slate of games this week, and could be the week I go 5-0. So gather ’round everyone and enjoy these winners:

This has trap game written all over it, but I don’t care I’m riding with the Cowboys. They score points in bunches, and from the one time I watched Kansas State this year they did not, given it was only the first game of the season, but that’s not the point. Plus, when push comes to shove I’m always going to take the team with the cooler jersey, which just happens to be OK State. And just so everyone knows, Bill Synder is an overrated coach who has never won a goddamn thing in his life.

I haven’t been giving any love to our troops this year, but that changes now. I know nothing about these teams other than their records, and that they both seem to get their teeth kicked in when they play Navy each year. I’m going with the Black Knights because I like how they’re the home team, and every now and then I would play with them in NCAA Football, which is a travesty that it’s no longer in existence. Fuck you, EA Sports.

Alabama -7 @ LSU

Alabama is the best team in football this year, that’s just a fact. They’ve had a few close games, but, for the most part, they haven’t been tested at all, and I don’t expect that to change on Saturday. Look, I know Death Valley is a brutal place to play at, especially at night, and you definitely can’t look past how the Tigers are 3-0 against the spread since they made a coaching change, but Alabama is the better team and Nick Saban lives for ripping out the souls of innocent people. Their offense can roll out of bed and put up 40 points, and I don’t see that changing Saturday night. ROLL DAMN TIDE!

Texas Tech +3 vs Texas

I can’t make heads or tails of Texas. I picked them two weeks ago and they lost, then I went against them last week and they won; what a bunch of assholes. I should probably stay away from them, but like a bad relationship, I just can’t let go of them. Having said all of that, I love a home underdog so I’m going with the Red Raiders. They’re both 4-4, so it’s pretty much a tossup, but give me the home team.

Auburn vs Vanderbilt OVER 44.5 : Lock of The Week

Vanderbilt may suck, but Auburn does not, and they could hit them over by themselves. They’re feeling all good about themselves being ranked in the top ten this week, so I think they’re going to feed off the home crowd and put up at least 40 points. If need be Vanderbilt may throw us a bone and score a touchdown or two. This is an awfully low point total so it could be a trap, but only Communists bet on the under, and last time I checked this was America. War Eagle/whatever Vanderbilt’s chant is.

If you don’t like any of those picks, which would be stupid because they’re all winners, I also like Texas A&M -13 @ Mississippi State, but I’m not counting that one towards my record. The quest for an undefeated week continues, so what better time to hit it than the first weekend in November (mine, Ryan Gosling, Leo DiCaprio, and Matthew McConaughey’s birthday month no big deal or anything). Let it ride.

What is a Supermoon?

The wait for the supermoon is almost over! If you are anything like me and missed the last astronomical event, then you won’t want to miss this one. By now you are probably asking yourself, ‘Well what is a supermoon, anyway?’ Well, I can guarantee you this is no Marvel comic, and unfortunately, there are no superpowers waiting to axle towards us, but what I can tell you is that this considerably sized moon is solely based on science and astrology. Basically, when a new or full moon closely approaches Perigee, which is the point at which the Moon is closest in its orbit to the Earth, the lunar perigee with the Sun and the Earth align. Approximately, this causes a supermoon to be in effect every 14th full moon. Pretty sweet, huh? Even though these recurring appearances have no set expiration date, it’s recorded that this is the closest supermoon since January 26, 1948! It’ll be another 18 years until the moon even comes this close to Earth again, so you definitely want to be sure NOT to miss this one.

“It is our sacred duty to defend the world, and it’s what I’m going to do,” says Wonder Woman in the new trailer for her very first appearance on the silver screen. The trailer is jammed packed with epic fight scenes, stunning beauty, explosions, and music that really set the mood for heart-stopping action. The film is set right smack in the middle of World War I, and Wonder Woman and her sidekick in this film Steve Trevor (played by Chris Pine) will look to find a way to end “the great war” and save innocent lives. It has been 75 years since Wonder Woman first appeared in comic books (All-Star Comics #8, 1941), and early this June, this former amazon champion will finally make her way to the big screen. Let’s hope that Wonder Woman can do better than the critically disappointing Suicide Squad and Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Speaking of Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, in this trailer we find out the history of a photo seen in that film. Gal Godot appeared in this film as Wonder Woman and kicked some serious tail.

Getting back to the topic at hand: This is the first full Wonder Women trailer since July when the San Diego Comic Con released an over two-minute action-packed preview of the film. In less than a week, a very memorable election will take place. Being a college student, I should probably know more about politics than I am admitting, considering the winner of this presidential election will be leading our country by the time I graduate college. But… I am going to continue to be a naïve, clueless, and oblivious 20-year-old.

Penn State students are extremely verbal in their political views, and if you’ve walked past Old Main in the last 24 hours, no, you are not hallucinating. Students for Trump (an organization on campus), a group that has around 250 members, built a four-foot wooden wall around the American flag on Penn State’s Old Main lawn, as well as propped up Trump signs, inviting other students to discuss the election. It was built to symbolize protecting the United States. However, there is apparently a bigger meaning and “discrete” significance behind the wall that they have built.

Students for Trump built the wall to show that a real wall would protect America from the outside, however, there is a small opening in the wall that symbolizes how America would still invite people to come inside, but only legally. Hence “no bad hombres.” The students in this organization are trying to promote open dialogue about the election, the wall, and other controversial policies. This is a great idea because the current world of people being judged and receiving hostile feedback every time they say who they are voting for, no matter which candidate, needs to come to an end.

Safe to say this election has made people go a little nuts. But hey, what’s a “politic” again?

Teresa Palmer is a 30-year-old actress and model from Adelaide, South Australia. She made her on-screen debut as one of the Pool Party People in 2005’s Wolf Creek, but she really made her mark for the first time as Melody in 2006’s 2:37. Teresa starred in the drama and received rave reviews for her performance, as she was nominated for the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

Teresa’s most recent film has been her biggest success to date, as Lights Out (2016) came out of nowhere to be a monster hit. Teresa starred as Rebecca in the horror movie that thrilled both audiences and critics alike. Despite only having a budget of $4.9 million, Lights Out made $148 million at the box office. It also is currently sporting a terrific 77% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Teresa’s next movie to hit theaters will be Hacksaw Ridge. She plays Dorothy Schutte in the Mel Gibson-directed World War II biographical film. The early reviews have been very positive, and Hacksaw Ridge will be at a theater nearest you on Friday, November 4.

The lads from Danny Boyle’s 1996 drug-endued black comedy are back for T2: Trainspotting. The original film was noted for its heroin use and abuse, but in this trailer, they mention an unknown substance made inside someone’s kitchen. Looks like the boys are cooking up more trouble!

The original cast is reuniting after two decades to pick up with the same hilarious and dramatic madness which made the first film such a cult hit.   Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, and Robert Carlyle are all returning to the fold, back to Scotland for more self-destruction, danger, drugs, sex, and regret.

“Choose life. Choose FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter, and hope that someone, somewhere cares,” says the narrative voice of Ewan McGregor’s character, Mark “Rent Boy” Renton, as the film’s famous, trademark song “Born Slippy” by Underworld plays for all to hear. Mark has returned home and falls back in with the crowd that made the first film appear so lively. He’s back with Spud (Bremner), Sickboy (Miller), and Begbie (Carlyle), and we can only guess the craziness that results from this wild combination. It looks like that mad-hatter Begbie is back in action! Look out, folks!

This film is sure to be filled with thrills, drama, laughs, and chaos. But did you know that all this madness originally came from a book? T2: Trainspotting is based on Irvine Welsh’s novel Porno, which is a sequel to his first book Trainspotting, which was also the title of the first film. This wouldn’t be the first time something crazy came from a book. But this is good crazy. I like it!

T2: Trainspotting will be initially theatrically released in the United Kingdom in a couple of months, specifically January 27th, 2017. And we won’t be able to see this film in theaters in the United States until at least February 3.

You may remember the crying and heartbreakingly sad face of Cameron Sterling back in July, when he spoke during a press conference regarding his father Alton Sterling, who was slain by police. On July 5, 2016, Cameron’s father was shot several times while being pressed on the ground by officers. This incident sparked tears in the eyes of then 15-year-old Cameron and left the young boy forever without a father.

But for his 16th birthday, Cameron was all smiles in a photo op with Kayne West and Kim Kardashian. The young Sterling attended Kanye’s Saint Pablo tour in Los Angeles on Wednesday and was somehow able to find the world-famous couple. “Shoutout to @kanyewest & @KimKardashian for showing 16th bday love last night to my client #CameronSterling, eldest son of #AltonSterling” was a message shared by attorney Justin Bamberg on Twitter in regards to his client’s interaction with the super famous celebrities.

We don’t know how this photo came about, but that doesn’t really matter. What matters is that Cameron is able to find some happiness after such a tragic event. And since the shooting occurred, many celebrities and members of the public came out to the side of this young man, who just wanted to see his father again. Besides the Wests, another famous person would come to Cameron’s aid in the form of HBO’s Issa Rae, who started a GoFundMe account for then 15-year-old as a way to raise money for him to go to college. The goal was to reach $200,000. But now, donations have far exceeded the initial goal, as the money raised on the account currently sits at $714,413.

The Buccaneers (3-4) host the Falcons (5-3) tonight on “Thursday Night Football” in a rematch of Week 1. The Bucs won that game, 31-24.

Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston is currently enduring somewhat of a sophomore slump. He had a four-interception game against the Cardinals in Week 2, and a three-game stretch of four touchdowns against seven interceptions and two lost fumbles, which saw the Bucs go 0-3.

As for the Falcons, they are currently boasting the NFL’s highest scoring offense, thanks to a career year from quarterback Matt Ryan. In eight starts this season, completing a career-high 69% of his throws for a career-high 9.4 yards per attempt.

Microsoft officially announced Project Scorpio at E3 2016 and it was proclaimed to be “the most powerful console ever built” by its presenters. Project Scorpio is still a codename for this brand new Xbox console and the projected release period is sometime around the holiday season 2017. Until then, it’s all about analyzing images and reading between the lines. Here are a few takeaways worth knowing.

1. It’s backwards compatible with most Xbox 360 games and all Xbox One games and accessories.

This recent news is great for fans of Red Dead Redemption and Halo 3, although the details of exactly how this backwards compatible feature will work are something of a mystery. Currently, backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One is a free feature but does, however, require both a Xbox 360 console and HDMI cable. This could mean that backwards compatible from 360 to Scorpio could require more materials.

2. It is virtual reality compatible.

This puts Microsoft in big competition with Sony, and for good reason. Sony already has a VR headset out on the market and it’s pulling in sales. With the help of VR titles like Fallout 4 VR , Project Scorpio is sure to bring in a lot of players.

3. It is catered toward 4K TV.

The head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, previously said that playing the next Xbox console on an HDTV “is not going to do anything for you.” He later changed his statement, saying  the combination may “run a little better.” There have been no official videos comparing specs and we look forward to seeing the differences. As of now this puts Project Scorpio’s console in more competition with the Ps4 Pro, which is stated to not be an essential for a 4K TV.

4. “6 Teraflops Of Power.”

This was mentioned repeatedly, so here’s some tech education so we can all stop thinking “that sounds pretty cool… but what does it mean?” A flop is defined as a unit of measured performance (or speed) for a machine. The tera part is a translation of  the word trillions. In the types of flops that exist, teraflop is ranked as the third fastest performance rate. While this may seem a little disappointing, teraflops is still an incredible rate and probably better off for the electric bill.

5. Fallout 4 Will Most Likely Be a Launch Day Title

The use of Fallout 4 in the promo video remains as the only verbally stated gaming title. It would be fairly safe to say that whenever Project Scorpio launches, so will Fallout 4 VR. It would also be reasonable to assume that certain new characteristics for Fallout 4 VR will be only accessible on Project Scorpio. A launch day lineup hasn’t been announced yet but it would be awkward not to see Fallout 4 VR on the list.

Nancy Shurtz is a University of Oregon law professor who decided to wear her a Halloween costume based on her favorite book, Black Man in a White Coat. It’s about, as you might have guessed from the title, a black man who is doctor. Nancy, in her infinite wisdom and multiple years of learning and teaching, decided to go to an off-campus Halloween party as the protagonist of this. In order to complete the costume and transformation, she put on blackface, an afro, and a lab coat.

That’s a photo of her Nancy in costume at the top of the article. And here’s another, more complete picture, of her at the Halloween party attended by OU professors, staff, and students.

This would be the most unbelievable story in the world–that a law professor at a prestigious state school would wear blackface–if it weren’t for the photographic proof. Making the story even more unbelievable is her excuse, which I almost find more offensive. As a law professor, you’d almost hope that her ability to defend herself would be phenomenal. Instead, she gave this frankly awful excuse.

I chose my costume based on a book that I read and liked—Black Man in a White Coat.  I thought I would be able to teach with this costume as well (or at least tell an interesting story). When I asked my daughter who is at Brown Medical School the demographics of her medical school class, she said “they do not give those statistics out mom”, but later when she asked the administration, they said there was _not one black male _student in the class. She and others were outraged. She was able to get the administration to assign a portion of this book (the one where the black medical student was thought to be the janitor) out to students.

I am sorry if it did not come off well.  I, of all people, would not want to offend [source].

First of all, if you close your eyes you can almost see the face of her daughter change from embarrassment for her mom to absolute horror as Nancy dragged her into this situation. Her daughter, Nancy, knows that blackface isn’t cool. But now she’s all of a sudden involved. Great job, mom.

Second, this defense makes zero sense. Nancy, are you saying that since you got everyone at your daughters’ school to realize that there were zero black students that you’re now able to educate people on race? Let’s hope not, because ask any person living in 2016 and they’ll tell you that blackface is a big no no.

As for the reactions of the community, you get one wild guess as to how the school is responding… They’re investigating the matter and Nancy has been placed on indefinite suspension. Here’s the University of Oregon’s statement.

The University of Oregon has been made aware that a faculty member of the School of Law wore a costume that included blackface at a private, off-campus Halloween party that was attended by UO faculty members and students.

We condemn this action unequivocally as anathema to the University of Oregon’s cherished values of racial diversity and inclusion. The use of blackface, even in jest at a Halloween party, is patently offensive and reinforces historically racist stereotypes. It was a stupid act and is in no way defensible [source].

And the black community at UO? They’re not happy about it. One letter calling for her resignation has been signed by 23 of her colleagues.

The Golden State Warriors will clash with the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight in the Warriors home turf. When people think of the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry is the usually the man that pops into your head. But Tuesdays fury came from the bench. From bench-warmer to a Tuesday night standout, Ian Clark became the first Warriors’ reserve to provide his team with at least eight field goals in one game without a missing once since January 18, 1996 against Milwaukee when Chris Mullin stepped up to the plate.  (I know, I just did a baseball metaphor in a basketball game).

But who will make it out on top in this one? Will it be the Thunder? This team from Oklahoma City sure has an ace up their sleeve in the form of Russell Westbrook, who is unprecedented player for this season, and has averaged more rebounds and points than any other guard in the NBA. This thunderous team has also just came off of a fresh victory against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday in a very close contest, with a score of 85-83.
