The Final Four has been a part of America’s sports landscape for a very long time. With March Madness taking over each season now, fans all over the country fill out brackets and hope for teams that they didn’t look at the whole season to win for them.
It is now down to just Villanova, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Syracuse to see who will make March history for 2016. The Tar Heels have been one of the best teams in the country for a long time and have won titles in 2005 and 2009 while the Orange won their last title in 2003. Villanova hasn’t won since 1985 and Oklahoma has never won a title as they lost the national championship game in 1988.
The national championship game itself has seen some of the greatest games in history over the few 25 years as well. Here is a look at the results from each national championship game since 1990 along with some of the biggest individual records. Could Buddy Hield find a way to come close to topping the most points in a national championship game? Only time will tell.
