Sunday brought one of the biggest days in all of college basketball all season with the announcement of the bracket for March Madness. There were plenty of surprises along the way with some of the top seeds and teams that made the tournament while others who were left on the outside looking in. As the selections began, there was at least six or seven teams vying for the No. 1 seed line.

In the South Region, the Kansas Jayhawks took the top seed after their win in the Big 12 Conference Tournament and are the top overall seed. In the East Region, the North Carolina Tar Heels are the top seed after winning the ACC Tournament. The Virginia Cavaliers are the top seed in the Midwest Region to be the second ACC team as a top seed. In the West Region, the Oregon Ducks are the No. 1 seed for the first time in their school history. A huge surprise was the Michigan State Spartans not getting a top seed even after winning the Big Ten championship.

Potential Elite Eight matchups include Kansas taking on Villanova in the South while Oregon could face Oklahoma looking for a Final Four berth in the West Region. In the Midwest, Virginia may end up facing Michigan State while the East could end up with a North Carolina/Xavier matchup. The East Region finals will be in Philadelphia while the Midwest title will be determined in Chicago. The South Region championship is in Louisville while the West Region will be finished in Anaheim.

The tournament will get underway on Tuesday night in Dayton when the Vanderbilt Commodores plays the Wichita State Shockers in a battle of #11 seeds and Florida Gulf Coast Eagles plays the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights. The two First Four games on Wednesday feature the Michigan Wolverines against the Tulsa Golden Wave in the #11 seed matchup and the Holy Cross Crusaders taking on the Southern Jaguars in a game of #16 seeds. The Vanderbilt/Wichita State game may be the best First Four game in the history of the event.

It will be worth seeing whether or not the ACC can get both of their top seeds into the Final Four which will be held in Houston this year. The Pac-12, ACC and Big 12 Conferences each got seven teams into the field of 68 while the Big Ten got six teams, the Big East finished with five teams in with the American Athletic Conference got four teams in. Michigan State may have a chip on their shoulder as a No. 2 seed while major upsets are expected to happen all the way through the tournament. A potential Texas/Texas A&M matchup in the Round of 32 is worth watching for along with the chance that one of the First Four teams goes all the way into the Sweet 16.

A black female Drexel student was allegedly assaulted by several white male Temple students late Saturday night and it looks to have been racially motivated.

Gabby was planning to throw a surprise birthday party for her boyfriend and stepped outside for some fresh air when several men were standing outside. When she casually asked one for a cigarette, they told her that “they’d only give [her] one if [she] sucked their d*cks.” Naturally her response was not pleasant, to which they then berated her with racial slurs and threw drinks in her face.

Gabby posted the following message to social media shortly after the event occurred:

She added:

Temple University is a hot bed of sexism + deep rooted racism that they try to hide under the veil of school spirit, academia, and “diversity”. I am not isolated case, and the situation could’ve occurred to any other black student. So many other students of color have reached out to me since my original post, relaying their stories of being victims of racism and sexism in the Temple Community. Anonymous Just Decalred ‘Total War’ On Donald Trump

Anonymous war Donald Trump

YouTube Anonymous

The vigilante hacker group, Anonymous, just declared “total war” against Donald Trump. In a video released by Anonymous last week, the hacktivists vowed to thwart Trump’s presidential campaign by taking down Trump’s websites and exposing embarrassing information.

The same hacktivists are responsible for going after the likes of ISIS in revenge for the Paris attacks as well as hacking into Trump’s voicemails and releasing messages that showed journalists (including liberal media outlet MSNBC) attempting to curry favor with the candidate.

In this new video, Anonymous shows clips of Donald Trump’s “inconsistent and hateful campaign [that] has not only shocked the United States of America,” but has “shocked the entire planet with [his] appalling actions and ideas.”

In the call to arms which can be seen below, a member of Anonymous donning a Guy Fawkes mask, relays the message that the hacktivist group will not stand for the hate that Trump is purveying, and declares “total war” on the the Republican nominee front runner.

“Dear Donald Trump, we have been watching you for a long time and what we see is deeply disturbing. Your inconsistent and hateful campaign has not only shocked the United States of America [but] you have shocked the entire planet with your appalling actions and ideas. You say what your audience wants to hear but in reality you don’t stand for anything except for your personal greed and power.”

“We need you to shut down his websites, to research and expose what he doesn’t want the public to know. We need to dismantle his campaign and sabotage his brand. We are encouraging every able person with a computer to participate in this operation. This is not a warning, this is a declaration of total war. Donald Trump – it is too late to expect us.”

April 1, commonly known as April Fools Day, is the date set out by Anonymous to commence the cyberwarfare attacks on Trump’s entities including TrumpChicago.com, DonaldJTrump.com, Trump.com, Trumphotelcollection.com and Trump’s online campaign destinations including DonaldTrump2016online.com and CitizensForTrump.com.

As part of this #OPTrump operation, Anonymous also posted a slew of unverified personal information purporting to belong to Donald Trump, including a social security number, personal phone number and the contact details of his agent and legal representation.

We sure as hell are dying to see how Anonymous and Donald Trump duke it out this time.

Pokken Tournament review

Pokken Tournament

College basketball isn’t the only kind of March Madness tournament going on right ow. Even crazier than what the NCAA has to offer is Pokken Tournament, a bizarre yet strangely brilliant mash-up that ties the Pokemon franchise to Tekken-style fighting sensibilities. The cutesy pocket monsters are all grown up and ready to throw down in real time over three dimensions, both online and off.

Game: Pokken Tournament
Consoles: Wii U (reviewed)
Publisher: The Pokemon Company
Developer: Bandai Namco Entertainment
Release Date: March 18

At first, the idea may seem like the result of a coke and booze binge at Nintendo’s corporate HQ, but going hands-on with the game relieves any doubts that this odd couple was meant to be together. Battles play out on a 3D plane, with creatures going vertical to release special moves — Pikachu’s Thunder or Lucario’s Aura Sphere — make their appearances — and summoning sidekicks to provide in-round pick-me-ups.

Characters such as Pikachu and Charizard are natural fits because of their inclusion in Smash Bros. games. The strategic, turn-based thinking of standard Pokemon games dovetails nicely into real-time battles. You’ll need to keep mentally agile to shift your attacks to exploit the vulnerabilities and defenses your enemy is throwing down.

Online play is strong, and admirably deep and easy to manage for a Wii U game. While you’re waiting for matchmaking to hook you up with a battle, you grind against a CPU opponent. The second a real-life opponent is ready, you’re warped into that matchup. Offline play is equally well thought out, with one player taking the GamePad while the other uses a Wii U pro controller and watching the action unfold onscreen.

Pokemon purists may not be hooked by the fighting game motif, but this is a no-brainer for Smash Bros. and Tekken fans. Pokken Tournament looks like the start of a promising new franchise that could thrive on either of Nintendo’s platforms. “Gotta catch ’em all has been replaced by “Gotta smack ’em all.”

ORDER: Pokken Tournament here

Pokken Tournament Reviews Around The Web:

“There’s plenty of depth to be found in every characters’ movesets especially with their range-shifting mechanics, but it still feels like a bare-bones experience.” –Nerd Rage

“It offers ease of use through the friendly Pokémon veneer for a combination of unabashedly fun, familiar gameplay.” –Polygon

“I feel like I have just scratched the surface of this enjoyable little fighter.” –The Outer Haven

Ben Affleck Net Worth 2016: How Much Is Ben Affleck Worth?

ben affleck net worth

Ben Affleck’s net worth is astouding considering he has had one of the most up-and-down careers Hollywood has ever seen. Bursting on to the scene in the late 1990’s, Affleck appeared in Dazed and Confused (1993) and various Kevin Smith films including Chasing Amy (1997) and Dogma (1999). Affleck gained fame when he and childhood friend Matt Damon won the Golden Globe and the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Good Will Hunting. After his Academy Award victory, Affleck became a bonafide A-lister, starring in  high-profile films including Armageddon (1998), Shakespeare in Love (1998), Pearl Harbor(2001), Changing Lanes (2002) and The Sum of All Fears (2002).

However, after this run of blockbuster hits, Affleck had a career downturn, starring in universally panned films such as Daredevil (2003), Gigli (2003), and Jersey Girl (2004). Following this lull, Affleck came back in a big way, both as an actor and a director. In 2006, he was nominated for a Golden Globe award for his performance in Hollywoodland.

Affleck’s directorial debut, Gone Baby Gone (2007), which he also wrote, was well received. He then directed, co-wrote, and starred in The Town (2010), which was named among the National Board of Review: Top Ten Films of the year. For the political thriller Argo(2012), which he directed and starred in, Affleck won the Golden Globe Award and BAFTA Award for Best Director, and his second Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a BAFTA Award for Best Picture.

In 2016, Affleck takes on maybe his biggest challenge yet, starring at Batman in Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice and in Suicide Squad.

Ben Affleck Net Worth as of 2016: $80 Million

With such an up and down career, we take a look back at all of it to determine Ben Affleck’s net worth

1995-1997

ben affleck net worth 1997

Affleck’s first starring film role was as an aimless art student in the college drama Glory Daze (1995).

He then played a bully in the comedy Mallrats (1995) and began to worry that he would be relegated to “throwing people into their lockers for the rest of my career.” However, he became friends with writer-director Kevin Smith during filming, and Smith wrote the lead role in his romantic comedy Chasing Amy (1997) for Affleck.

Also in 1997, he starred as a recently returned Korean War veteran in the coming-of-age drama Going All the Way.

Affleck had a three-year relationship with actress Gwyneth Paltrow from 1997 to 2000.

The success of 1997’s Good Will Hunting, which Affleck co-wrote and starred in, marked a significant turning point in his career. The screenplay originated in 1992 when Damon wrote a 40-page script for a playwriting class at Harvard University. He asked Affleck to act out the scenes with him for the class and, when Damon later moved into Affleck’s Los Angeles apartment, they began working on the script in earnest. The film, which they wrote mainly during improvisation sessions, was set in their hometown of Cambridge and drew from their own experiences. They sold the screenplay to Castle Rock in 1994, when Affleck was 22 years old.

1998-2002

ben affleck net worth 2000

1998’s Armageddon established Affleck as a viable leading man for Hollywood studio blockbusters.

Later in 1998, Affleck had a supporting role as an arrogant English actor in the period romantic comedy Shakespeare in Love, starring his then-girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow.

Affleck and Damon had an onscreen reunion in Kevin Smith’s religious satire Dogma (1999).

Affleck’s next role was as a hardened criminal opposite Charlize Theron in the action thriller Reindeer Games (2000).

Affleck then had a supporting role as a ruthless stockbroker in the crima drama Boiler Room (2000).

Along with Damon and producers Chris Moore and Sean Bailey, Affleck founded the production company LivePlanet in 2000, seeking to integrate the internet into mainstream television and film production. The four created the documentary series Project Greenlight, as well as the failed mystery-hybrid series Push, Nevada, among other projects.  Project Greenlight was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program in 2002, 2004, and 2005.

Affleck entered an alcohol rehabilitation facility in 2001. When the story leaked to the press, a spokesperson said the actor “decided that a fuller life awaits him without alcohol”.

In 2001, Affleck starred in Michael Bay’s war film Pearl Harbor.

Also in 2001, Affleck appeared in Kevin Smith’s comedy Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, parodying Good Will Hunting with Damon and Van Sant.

In 2002, Affleck starred opposite Samuel L. Jackson in the thriller Changing Lanes. Also in 2002, he was cast as Jack Ryan, a role previously played by Alec Baldwin and Harrison Ford, in the fourth film in the techno-thriller series The Sum of All Fears. Also in 2002, he was named Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine.

Affleck had an eighteen-month relationship with actress/singer Jennifer Lopez from 2002 to 2004, during which they became engaged.

2003-2006

ben affleck net worth 2006

In 2003, Affleck was the subject of much media attention due to his relationship with Jennifer Lopez, with the actor himself remarking that it filled him with a sense of “dread … People are going to grow weary of this.” By the end of the year, Affleck had become, in the words of GQ, the “world’s most over-exposed actor.”His newfound tabloid notoriety coincided with a series of poorly received films.

The first of these critically panned films was Daredevil (2003), in which Affleck starred as the blind superhero.

Affleck next appeared in Gigli (2003), co-starring Lopez. Gigli received almost uniformly unfavorable reviews, with Manohla Dargis of the Los Angeles Times remarking: “A passable actor but a lousy star — the bigger the movie, the worse he comes across — Affleck doesn’t have the chops or the charm to maneuver around (or past) bad material.”

In his final movie role of 2003, Affleck starred in the thriller Paycheck (2003).

Affleck began dating actress Jennifer Garner in mid-2004, having established a friendship on the sets ofPearl Harbor (2001) and Daredevil(2003).

Affleck’s poor critical notices continued in 2004. He starred in the romantic comedy Jersey Girl, directed by longtime collaborator Smith. Stephen Holden of the New York Times described Affleck as an actor “whose talent has curdled as his tabloid notoriety has spread.”

At this point, the quality of scripts offered to Affleck “was just getting worse and worse” and he decided to take a career break: “I was a little bit exhausted of myself and my life, so I wanted to try to control it or manage it.” The Los Angeles Times published a piece on the downfall of Affleck’s career in late 2004: “While the critics see Affleck as a big pinata and the tabloids see him as a reader magnet, few industry professionals seem to be gloating over Affleck’s travails.” Various producers and agents were interviewed, with Harvey Weinstein commenting: “He’s one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met in this industry … a great guy with an incredible personality and talent. I think the sky’s the limit when he wants to focus. And he will.”

Affleck began to stage a comeback in 2006. While both Man About Town and Smokin’ Aces were little-seen, Affleck won acclaim for his performance as George Reeves in the noir biopic Hollywoodland.

2007-2012

ben affleck net worth 2010

In 2007, Affleck made his feature film directorial debut with Gone Baby Gone, a crime drama set in a working-class Boston neighbourhood, starring his brother Casey. Affleck co‑wrote the screenplay, based on the book by Dennis Lehane, with childhood friend Aaron Stockard, having first mentioned his intention to adapt the story in 2003.  It opened to rave reviews.

In 2009, Affleck returned to acting, starring in three features. In He’s Just Not That Into You, an ensemble romantic comedy, he acted opposite both Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper.  In State of Play, Affleck played Congressman Stephen Collins. The film is a political thriller which explores the relationship between politicians and the media. In the comedy film Extract, Affleck played an offbeat bartender.

In 2010, Affleck starred in The Company Men as a mid-level sales executive who is made redundant during the financial crisis. His performance received positive reviews.

In 2010, Affleck directed his second feature, The Town, an adaptation of Chuck Hogan’s novel Prince of Thieves. Following the modest success of Gone Baby Gone, Warner Brothers Pictures had offered Affleck his choice of the studio’s scripts.

In 2012, Affleck directed his third feature film, ArgoArgo won the Academy Award for Best Picture. Affleck was the first director ever who failed to earn an Oscar nomination for Best Director, yet went on to win both the Golden Globe and the Directors Guild of America awards for Best Director.  He also won the Critic’s Choice and BAFTA awards for Best Director.

Affleck starred in To the Wonder (2013), a romantic drama written and directed by Terrence Malick.

Also in 2013, he starred in the gambling thriller Runner Runner. The film received poor reviews but Affleck’s performance as a poker boss was perceived as a highlight.

Affleck starred as a husband accused of murder in David Fincher’s psychological thriller Gone Girl (2014). Fincher cast him partly because he understood what it felt like to be misrepresented by tabloid media. Affleck pushed back production on his own directorial project to accept the role.

Affleck and Garner announced their intention to divorce on June 30, 2015.

In 2015, the fourth season of HBO’s Project Greenlightwith Affleck and Damon began airing, a decade after the third season aired.

In November 2015, Affleck began filming his fourth directorial project, Live by Night, an adaptation of the Dennis Lehane novel. Affleck wrote the adapted screenplay for the “big, sweeping gangster-epic morality story.”  The film, scheduled for release in 2017,  will co-star Zoe Saldana, Sienna Miller and Elle Fanning.

Affleck is also expected to direct and star in a standalone Batman film, and is co-writing the script with Geoff Johns.

Meet Lucy and Anna: The Identical Twins Who Share Everything, Including a Boyfriend

There’s nothing like the connection between sisters, especially twin sisters. Of course, it doesn’t take much for that bond to go from heart-warming to disquieting—think those girls from The Shining.

Anyway, meet Lucy and Anna DeCinque, 30-year-old sisters from Perth, Australia. While they were born identical twins, that wasn’t enough for them. In their quest to become the other’s perfect mirror images, they’ve spent over $250,000 on various cosmetic procedures. Whether or not this sounds like something from a horror movie or a fantasy come true depends on what you’re into, I guess.

“If she walks a few meters, I need to walk a few meters because we have to burn the same calories,” Lucy told the Australian TV show Insight. “Our diet is identical. Our food has to be identical. The same glass of water, we measure. The same size of chip packets, we have to measure.”
The two share everything: a phone, clothes, a car, a Facebook account, career, and a boyfriend.

For four years, the two have been dating Ben Byrne, a 32-year-old electrical mechanic exercise enthusiast. Ben is also a twin—fraternal, though, not identical—so he says he understands the girls’ need to be together at all times. All three sleep in the same king-sized bed.

If you’re a normal, sane human being, you’re probably wondering, “How does that work?” Well, according to the twins, if just does:

For his part, Ben doesn’t seem to have many complaints.

“It’s always two versus one, but, on the bright side, I get double the love” he said in an interview with Women’s Day

That also means double the children. While the girls aren’t actively trying for kids at the moment, it’s a topic that’s come up before. As Anna told news.com.au, “If I got pregnant, Lucy would definitely get pregnant straight way — because our bodies need to be the same.”

A Student Was Assigned a 500-Word Essay as Punishment for Sexual Assault

A 500-word essay is usually something you write in order to be accepted into college, not to keep from being expelled from one. But, apparently, that’s the case at Gustavus Adolphus College, a small liberal arts school in St. Peter’s, Minnesota.

Students there are claiming that, recently, a fellow student was found responsible for sexual assault by the college, but, instead of being expelled or suspend, his only punishment is to write a 500-word essay about consent. Initially, the student was to be suspended for the rest of the school year, beginning this January, however, he successfully appealed that sentence and remains on campus.

“The college has stated that there is essentially no other options for a survivor once the restrictions of an outcome are appealed and rescinded/lowered, and that they must accept the fact that they have to attend school, under the expectation of cordiality, with their own rapist,” Shentoria Cobbs, a student at Gustavus Adolphus wrote on Facebook last week. “I will never be cordial and I will never forget his name, even if the school doesn’t tell you it. I sincerely hope now that all of you won’t either.” According to Inside Higher Ed, this post has since been deleted, but not before it went viral.

Now, students and alumni are calling for sexual misconduct reform.

“This is not a new conversation. Rape and gender-based violence has been a problem at Gustavus for as long as this community can remember and persists today,” reads a petition by the college’s Womyn’s Awareness Center. “We are done living in fear.”

Among their demands is that there be “mandatory expulsions for all findings of rape.”

Of course, these accusations have been met with some skepticism. As The College Fix has pointed out, the “college would have to be suicidal to mete out this punishment for rape.”

“Since 2010, the college has never assigned an essay as the only sanction in a sexual misconduct case,” a spokesman for the college, JJ Akin, said.

But, as Cobbs told Inside Higher Ed, the essay isn’t the student’s only punishment. He will also be required to work with a mentor and is not allowed to participate in some extra circular activities on campus, but he can still be a part of his fraternity and live on campus.

And, unfortunately, the statistics back up Cobbs’ story. A data survey conducted by The Huffington Post found that, from 2011 to 2013 only 30% of students found responsible for sexual assault were expelled. The perpetrator was suspended in 47%t of cases and about 17%of students received educational sanctions, while 13% were only placed on probation.

The college has refused to confirm or deny Cobbs’s account, citing privacy laws. Because, of course.

Bombd, A New Messaging App, Explodes On South Padre Island For Spring Break

Bombd App Launch Information

Bombd, the world’s first message request app, has been tearing it up down in South Padre Island for Spring Break 2016. So let’s take a look at the app that’s been exploding on the scene recently.

In the world of photo sharing apps, it’s hard to make the case that people are actually sharing “real” photos. With Snapchat, you’ve got the chance to retake the photos you send; and with Instagram, most people take a couple of selfies to see which ones they like more.

That’s why the new app Bombd, which launched in South Padre Island on March 5th (on the iTunes and Google Play stores today) thinks its got the juice to blow up on your phone. Here’s a simple explanation for how the world’s first messaging request app works:

Download, add friends, send Bombs. Once sent, the recipient receives a notification that they’ve been Bombd and is given a three hour activation deadline. Upon activation, the recipient’s smartphone camera automatically turns on and a seven second countdown begins. When the seven seconds are up, the camera captures an image and blasts it back to the original “Bomber.” It’s as simple as that.

Essentially when you bomb your friends, you’re going to be getting a real look at what they’re doing. Obviously you get a seven-second countdown to get the best picture, but it’s much easier to keep up with your group. The other added benefit is that you’re only getting photos and updates from people you’re interested–unlike Snapchat stories. So in that way, it’s more like Uber than Snapchat.

Bombd is exactly the kind of app that would make sense during Spring Break. And wouldn’t you know it, the Bombd team is currently tearing it up in South Padre Island right now.

Instagram Photo

In just a couple of days, 50K bomb requests have been sent. In fact, last week there were so many going on at once that the app crashed for an hour.

kobe byrant free tickets

Kobe Byrant is a baller, literally and metaphorically. He’s on the Mount Rushmore of ballers. After 20 years of making NBA defenders looks absolutely stupid, The Black Mamba is finally hanging up his Nikes. So what does he do, other than continue to jack up 20-plus shots a night? Use his retirement leverage to make money for his charity, that’s what. Baller.

Bryant is giving away two free seats for the Lakers season finale against the Utah Jazz. And not just any seats: they are quite literally the best seats in the arena. The only thing contestants have to do is donate at least $10 to Omaze, a charitable platform. The money will be divided among three charities: The Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation, the Positive Coaching Alliance and the After-School All-Stars of Los Angeles. the more you donate, the greater chances you have of winning; participants can choose to donate up to $7,500. There’s some Kobe memorabilia for those who choose to give, too, including an autographed basketball and shoes. The winners will receive the following benefits:

-Get Row A, center court tickets to the final Lakers home game of the season in Los Angeles.
-High-five Kobe and the Lakers team as they run out on the court.
-Get flown to LA and put up in a 4-star hotel.

Sounds like a win, win, win to me. The first win? Donating to a good cause is always good for the soul. The second win? The potential of winning a dope prize, especially the seats to Kobe’s last game. The third win? Contributing to a charity will help you feel better about the sin you will partake in on St. Patty’s day. See, three dubs.

At the time this was published, there are 24 days left to enter. So get to it.

ncaa tournament first four

It’s here, sports fans. March Madness is back in all of it’s chaotic glory. The NCAA Tournament, which is arguably the best month of sports all year, makes it’s triumphant return tonight with it’s round of First Four games.

The eight-team, four-game event expanded the NCAA Tournament to 68 teams in 2011. The first year the Field of 68 was introduced, VCU famously went from First Four to Final Four. No one has quite replicated that success, but at least one First Four team has won a Round of 64 game every year since. The participants in this year’s First Four are: Florida Gulf Coast, Fairleigh Dickinson, Vanderbilt, Wichita State, Holy Cross, Southern University, University of Michigan, and Tulsa. Among the 48 teams over six years of the First Four, there have been only eight teams from the Power Five conferences. The SEC has the most participants with three, including Tennessee in 2014 Ole Miss in 2015 and Vanderbilt this year.

The 2016 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament will involve 68 teams playing in a single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion of men’s NCAA Division I college basketball. The 78th edition of the tournament, which begins on March 15,  will conclude with the championship game on April 4 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. CBS Sports and Turner Sports’ exclusive coverage of the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship will tip off with the NCAA First Four on Tuesday, March 15, and Wednesday, March 16 (6 p.m. ET, both days). First round game coverage will begin Thursday, March 17, and Friday, March 18 (Noon-Midnight, both days) with all games available live in their entirety across four national television networks – TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV – and via NCAA March Madness Live. This year’s NCAA Final Four National Semifinals on Saturday, April 2, along with the National Championship on Monday, April 4, will be televised by TBS.

meri manziel

Johnny Manziel has had a rough week. He got cut. He was called the second worst draft pick in NFL history. Now, the cherry on top: the internet discovered how hot his younger sister, Meri, is. I’m actually starting to feel bad for Johnnnn ahhhh who am I kidding? I don’t feel bad for the dude at all. He’s still a multi-millionaire and he’s still bagging models.

After being spotted with Johnny Manziel at the Los Angeles Kings game last week, the internet went abuzz trying to figure out who ol’ J-Football’s new slam was. Well, it turned out it was just his sister. Johnny dragged his sister into the spotlight for us, so we might as well thank him for it by properly appreciating her. As it turns out, Meri has actually had a Twitter beef with our partners over on Busted Coverage. Check it out, it’s hilrious.

Anyway, as for the reason you’re here, his sister: Meri Manziel’s hotness. She’s 21 years old, and while it’s obvious Johnny got the athletic genes in the family, his sister got the attractive genes, cause damn.  While her Instagram is fire, I made your life easier by collecting the 22 hottest photos she’s posted here.

Spring Break 2016 Fight Videos: Best Brawls & Knockouts

Spring Break Fights

Spring Break is all about excess, but sometimes the amount of booze, sun, and large crowds of people yelling can turn “fun” into “fugly.” That’s when mob mentality starts taking over and things take a turn for the worse. Usually with spring break fight videos, what ends up happening is a small fistfight that gets progressively bigger as the brawlers’ friends start entering the fray.

Then the police come, everyone responsible for the crime disappears into the crowd, and the cops arrest the poor schmuck who got his face pummeled on camera.

**We’ll be updating this post regularly as more and more fight videos start hitting the internet. If you have one we might like to see, send it to us on Twitter or Instagram.**

Beach Brawl in Fort Lauderdale, FL

We’re going to go ahead and call this the first official brawl of Spring Break 2016. It occured on the beach on March 12th and was big enough that mounted police units had to come and calm things down.

Here’s another view of the whole mess.

Outside Cameo In Miami, FL

Last weekend in Miami was a complete sh*tshow when it came it to police and Spring Breakers. Tensions were at an all-time high with riots happening all night. Then someone caught this guy wilding out on the bouncers at Cameo.

Not a good idea to mess with bouncers in Miami. They are much bigger and much stronger than yhou.

The only person who needs to get his ass beat is the person filming and narrating, who’s 100% responsible for escalating this into a real fight.

A couple of times a week, Yahoo and Live Nation team up to do this super cool thing where they Live Stream a live concert. Artists like Future, Chris Brown, and Mac Miller have all been featured recently, and next up is rapping phenom Fetty Wap, who burst onto the scene like few others do last year. The concert will be held in Atlanta, Georgia on March 15, 2016 at 10:10 PM EST.

Fetty Wap, born Willie Maxwell II,  is an American hip hop recording artist from Paterson, New Jersey. He rose to prominence with his 2014 breakout single “Trap Queen”, which was a sleeper hit that peaked at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in May 2015. The success of “Trap Queen” helped Fetty Wap secure a record deal with 300 Entertainment and a distribution deal with Atlantic Records. He subsequently released the top 40 singles “679”, “My Way” and “Again”. Fetty Wap’s eponymously titled debut album was released in September 2015 and reached number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. When he was a child, Maxwell developed glaucoma in both eyes. He revealed in a 2015 interview that doctors were unable to save his left eye and instead fitted him with anocular prosthesis. He began taking interest in music in 2013. Initially starting off as only a rapper, he later decided to start singing as well because he “wanted to do something different”. He was nicknamed “Fetty” (slang for money) as he was known for making money. “Wap” was added to the end of the name to perform under in tribute to Gucci Mane’s alias, GuWop.

Everyone has been voicing their opinions loud and proud this election cycle, but if there’s one person we didn’t expect to hear from, it’s Courtney Stodden.

The 21-year-old former child bride and pending adult film star just endorsed her favorite candidate: 74-year-old Bernie Sanders. Considering her fondness for older men, we’re not exactly surprised. But it was how she did it, we find most disturbing.

Stodden posted the following Instagram video on her page yesterday and things get… weird. Like real weird. Check it out:

What… is happening?! Not only is the dude with the photoshopped face freaking me the f*ck out, but I can’t figure out why Stodden is talking like a politically-fueled baby.

On the other hand, an endorsement is an endorsement, no matter how weird it is. You should take that into consideration, Ted Cruz. #FeelTheBern

Best Netflix Original Series in 2016: Top 5 Best Netflix Shows For Guys

Best Netflix Series, Best Netflix Shows

In my semi-professional opinion, (I work for a media company and watch a hell of a lot of TV, so that should count for something), pound for pound, Netflix is currently the third best producer of television programming. Behind the G.O.A.T. HBO, and the always remarkable AMC. After that, and comfortably ahead of Showtime, is Netflix.

Netflix’s original programming, and streaming service in general, is the stuff of legend. On the brink of bankruptcy, streaming services boomed and brought Netflix back from the day, paving the way for their creation of original content, which they are now an industry leader in. Just how dominant is Netflix these days? In January 2016, Netflix reported that it had 74 million subscribers, including 44 million in the U.S. Netflix subscriptions are about $96 a year, so multiply that by 74 MILLION, and you have quite the coin.

Needless to say, Netflix came out swinging’: House Of Cards, one of the best shows on television, was their first original show. Since then, it’s been nothing but steady quality. Netflix now produces hundreds of hours of original programming around the world. Sure, not every show is a hit, but the same can be said about HBO and AMC. And what Netflix succeeds at most, is diversity. There is something for everyone. How many girls have you heard run on and on about Orange Is The New Black? Dozens? Probably. And how many minutes of that show have you watched? Zero? Me too. Point is, with so much diversity, it can be hard to find exactly which Netflix original is for you. So, combining my opinion, the opinions of my friends, and critical reviewed, I have figured out the best 5 original Netflix shows for every guy out there.
