When do Burning Man tickets go on sale? Wednesday, February 18th at 12 PM PST. Tickets are first-come, first-serve so make sure that you’re at your computer ready to go at 11:55. There is no doubt that tickets will sell out this year. Presale tickets at $800 went very quickly.

Tickets cost $390–but that’s not even going to come close to the amount of money you’re going to have to drop on food, water, and drugs medication.

But in a way, I’d like to interview him and it not be [published]. Because knowing it’s going to be is always in the back of your mind when you’re answering questions. I just want to get as close to the truth of possible.” Who knows who’d she choose in the end, but both seem highly unlikely.

The Nintendo 3DS starts off 2015 right, with two mega-entries into its already robust library. Players have to decide between heading back to the past with The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D–a remastered version of one of the Nintendo 64’s best games — or take on the future with the cutting-edge Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

The easiest, but financially painful, choice between two games this good is to just buy both. Players with other systems who are hankering for a Game of Thrones fix can settle their urges by playing the second episode of Telltale Games’ adventure-game take on the material.

Game of Thrones – Episode 2: The Lost Lords

(Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Vita, $5, Mature)

Telltale flexes its adventure acumen, sinking its teeth into HBO’s version of George R.R. Martin’s dark fantasy epic. Blessed with voice actors and likenesses from the show, the second episode continues to delve into the twisted path that House Forrester has taken, entangled with the deviousness of the Lannisters. All the bitter backstabbing and stress-inducing interplay among tough, well-drawn characters makes the transition from the books and show to the game.

Just as with the first episode, the quick-time events for action events drag down the real draw, which is the fast-paced dialogue and intriguing branching paths that spin off from your choices. The storytelling pace picks up quite a bit, stirring the pot and making the wait for the next episode as difficult as the one for the start of the next TV season.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D

(3DS, $40, Everyone 10+)

Nintendo’s remaster of its 2000 classic reintroduces the most inventive and confounding Zelda game to modern players. Set just after The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, you find Link robbed of his items and horse and marooned in the bizarre, seemingly doomed land of Termina. An angry-faced moon is set to crash to the earth and destroy civilization in three days, and it’s up to you to help Link scurry around to unlock the magic it will take to prevent the apocalypse.

Wielding a time-travel mechanic, you inch your way toward progress, then rewind time with progress intact to continue your efforts. You spend a lot of time tracking the daily activities of villlagers, discovering the proper times to meet them certain places and take and receive items from them. The new note-taking function helps you keep track of it all. The game also looks and controls better than ever, with rich 3D visuals that add a high-definition glimmer to the already impressive graphics. A streamlined save system, an in-game hint system and masks that grant Link new powers all improve on a solid infrastructure, proving the publisher’s knack for revitalizing its classics.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

(3DS, $40, Teen)

Capcom’s breathless, exploration-heavy action RPG has found its true home on the 3DS. You build and name an adventurer, then send him out into the wild, slaying monsters, collecting resources and building up your capabilities so you can take on even more dangerous beasts. With quick-hitting missions well-suited to handheld play and quick-travel options that neutralize much of the dullness of console versions of Monster Hunter, this is the most accessible and fun entry in the series yet.

There’s a Pokémon-style feel to the hunting and collecting aspects, but the brutal, bloody battles add a high-stakes tension that Nintendo’s other collect-a-thon can’t match. There’s a vast, well-supported online system that makes it easy to join and trade with friends and strangers, paving the way for the obsessive community to band together. Despite the small scale, you feel as though you’ve plunged into an endless world. There’s always some new place to go and a new, oppressive beast to track down and conquer.

Yes, 50 Cent has his own baseball card–and it’s an official Topps card, too. That really isn’t that big of a shock. There’s a whole series dedicated to ceremonial first pitches from celebs. Eddie Vedder has one, too. Of course, 50 Cent is immortalized for the worst first pitch in baseball history. That’s a little shocking.

The back info on the card makes a little more sense. It’s mainly a reminder that Topps works with the official MLB, and MLB isn’t in a hurry to scare off other potential first-pitchers by ridiculing them on a baseball card. The official story here is as positive a spin as you can put on the 50 Cent fiasco.

We can’t explain the typo, though. It’s either “In the Club” or “in the club,” Topps typists….

Conan O’Brien went to a Korean spa with The Walking Dead‘s Steven Yeun, and we suppose that’s meant to be comedy gold right there. We’re really just trying to figure out why Steven Yeun didn’t just show up on Conan and plug The Walking Dead. Damn, they make people work for their promotions over at TBS.

It’s not even like Steven Yeun got some kind of great spa stay. We’re pretty sure this is the kind of L.A. spa where you can spend the entire day for $20. But you cannot put a price tag on fine comedy, with a video that includes moments like this…

Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray may be heading out of town as a free agent this offseason but before he makes any decisions, he left a lasting impression on a family recently that had just lost their home. After hearing about the story of Livermore brothers, who watched their home go up in flames which destroyed all their Cowboys gear, Murray had to do something.

At an event in Plano, Texas on Tuesday, Murray gave the brothers VIP treatment where they each got a signed Murray jersey and had the chance to sit at the same table as him. Murray had also met the brothers at their car when they arrived and walked them inside. Here is a look at what happened from TMZ.com.

There should be more athletes who do things like this more often in the public light. There are plenty of them who are shown in a bad light and maybe some more social things for their fans would be a step in the right direction. Murray can be used as a great example for the next generation of players and fans. Those brothers are going to be hoping that Murray stays in Dallas now.

Minor league sports teams have always had to come up with different promotions to get fans into the seats. The first big promotion on the schedule this season will come from the Akron RubberDucks who have scheduled a special event for April 27. It will be “Brian Williams’ Pants-on-Fire Night” to go along with National Tell a Story Day. It is a way to look at the NBC anchorman and his recent mistelling of events while in Iraq over a decade ago.

There will be suspenders handed out to the first 100 fans in the ballpark. Any fan named Brian Williams will have the chance to throw out the first pitch while a fan with the same name will be assigned to read tall tales. Fans will be able to audition to be a TV news anchor in between innings with the results sent to NBC as well along with a pair of pants allegedly from Williams being burned.

This is going to be an epic night in Akron. There is no reason for any fan in the Akron area to miss this game and the chance to read stories, throw out a first pitch and even believe they can be the next anchor of the NBC Nightly News. Williams was suspended for six months without pay by NBC earlier this week. Maybe he can even make an appearance while he has the time.

The first trailer for the spy movie The Man From U.N.C.L.E. came out today, and it’s well worth a look. No, not just because it’s on our list of the 30 Most Anticipated Movies of 2015, but because it actually will be a good movie.

According a new study from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, statistics show that drunk driving is more dangerous than stoned driving.

The numbers show that drunk drivers are 600% more likely to crash their car than if you’ve been smoking. And after adjusting for age, gender, and race, those same statistics show that drivers who tested positive for marijuana  were no more likely to crash than who had not used any drugs or alcohol prior to driving.

The toughest thing about the study is that as every pot smoker knows, just because THC is in your system doesn’t mean that you’ve been smoking recently. For that reason, the NHTSA is quick to point out that “At the current time, specific drug concentration levels cannot be reliably equated with a specific degree of driver impairment.”

So just remember, that smoking and driving is the lesser of two evils. It’s still illegal.

Bradley Cooper heads back to the military in Cameron Crowe’s new film Aloha, starring Rachel McAdams, Emma Stone, Bill Murray, and Danny McBride. Crowe specializes in mixing the chick flick, dude movie genre to make something worth watching – and not sleeping through – on a date (Jerry McGuire, we’re looking at you).

Cooper plays a military contractor who reconnects with an ex-flame (McAdams) while simultaneously falling for Emma Stone in uniform. Can you blame him? Check out the trailer below in anticipation for its May 29th release.

Charlie Sheen has laid pretty low since his epic string of life scandals, but now the mentally questionable actor is back with a Twitter rant defending the recently suspended Brian Williams. As the story goes, the journalist lied about being under enemy fire during his 2013 visit to Iraq, then tried covering his tracks by announcing to loyal viewers that he’s “too much apart of the news.” Right. We like a good story too Williams, it’s ok, we get it.

The news anchor has been drenched in controversy ever since and was recently suspended from NBC for six months. Not many has come to his aide, but Charlie Sheen is stepping up to the plate. In a recent Twitter rant, the actor calls Williams a “true patriot and hero,” and deems the entire incident a “vile witch hunt.” Interesting choice of words, Sheen.

West Virginia University student and Kappa Sigma pledge Nolan Burch died tragically last November during their Big Brother event after suffering a “catastrophic medical emergency.” Now police have arrested Richard Schwartz, Nolan’s “Big Brother,” and charged him with one count of hazing and one charge of conspiracy to commit hazing.

“If convicted Schwartz could face a fine of no less than $100 and no more than $1,000 and up to nine months in jail on the hazing charge, and a fine of no more than $1,000 and no more than one year in jail for the conspiracy charge.” [source]

Allegedly, Richard Schwartz is the person who bought a bottle of liquor for the 18-year-old Burch, making him responsible for whatever happened that night.

According to the police report, Nolan was found unresponsive at a residence the night of the “Big Brother” event, at which point he was taken to back to the Kappa Sigma house. [Editor’s note: Hindsight is 20/20 here, but if we can just interject for a moment the right thing to do would have been to call 911 immediately. But we’d be fools to suggest that we don’t understand how freshmen would respond to this situation.] Once Nolan was taken back to the Kappa house, he was placed on a table at which point a brother noticed he had turned blue and didn’t have a pulse.

Officers arrived at the scene within two minutes of the 911 call. Nolan was declared dead two days later.

This whole situation is very terrible, especially because anyone who ever pledged anywhere knows that if things had happened another way it could have been any of us. Our hearts and thoughts go out to Nolan and his family.

Please, please, please look out for your brothers and sisters during the times they need you most.

James Jones Jr., a 21-year-old Chemistry student at Clark Atlanta University, was killed earlier this week after answering a Craigslist ad about an iPhone 6. James responded to the ad on Monday night and traveled to Marietta, Georgia to make the purchase, a town about 20 miles from the school. Shortly after arriving, Jones was shot and killed while sitting in his car.

Three suspects – Jordan Baker, 18; Jonathan Myles, 19; and Kaylnn Ruthenberg, 21 – were in custody by Tuesday morning and have officially been charged with felony murder, armed robbery, and aggravated assault.
