Kappa Delta Rho at Penn State University has been suspended for allegedly sharing photos of passed out nude females (possibly drunk) on a private Facebook page titled “Covert Business Transactions.” Among other things they posted were photos of drug buys, which is probably where they got the name from. On Facebook. That thing that grandmothers use.
Just a note: if you’re finding this story already hard to read, we suggest removing your palm from your forehead.
“Covert Business Transactions” was shut down after Facebook received a tip (not before police obtained 20 photos), but it was reopened another page called “2.0.”
Now State College police are investigating this further and Kappa Delta Rho has been placed under review. We don’t know if it’s true or not, but someone commented on a /r/frat thread that there’s a good chance every brother will be drug tested.
Suddenly, posting photos of drugs doesn’t seem like such a good idea.
Unfortunately we don’t know if KDR is going to last very much longer, but at the very least some of you can use them as a perfect example of what not to do:
1. Don’t post photos of passed out chicks–that’s rapey. Leave posting drunk chicks to the professionals.
2. Don’t post photos of drug transactions on Facebook.
3. Don’t start another page implicating your fraternity once one gets shut down.
