Azealia Banks knows how to make enemies. In this month’s issue of Playboy, the controversial singer snagged the cover and reamed out most of Hollywood simultaneously during her in-book interview.
Banks, who garnered a reputation for igniting feuds with some of the top stars in the music industry, managed to bash Lorde, Kanye West, and the United States in a single breath. When discussing race, the Harlem-raised singer mentions,”It’s always about race… Lorde can run her mouth [on Twitter] and talk s— about all these other bitches, but y’all aren’t saying she’s angry. If I have something to say, I get pushed into the corner.”
Next up: The U.S. Banks explains, “I hate everything about this country… Like, I hate fat white Americans. All the people who are crunched into the middle of America, the real fat and meat of America, are these racist conservative white people who live on their farms. Those little teenage girls who work at Kmart and have a racist grandma—that’s really America.”
Her last jab belongs to Kanye West and his rap game: “Kanye West plays a little bit of that game… Please accept me, white world… Jay Z hasn’t played any of those games, and that’s what I like.”
Well at least there’s one compliment.
