We started the weekend pondering the beauty of Stephen Curry and James Harden being in a dead heat for NBA MVP, since both of the stars are currently at the top of the game–as we illustrated with a look back at this year’s All-Star Game. Now we’re wrapping up the weekend with really good odds that Stephen Curry nailed himself the MVP title with an incredible play when he went up against the Golden State Warriors earlier today.
We know there were other players for the Warriors as the team scored a 106-98 home win over the Los Angeles Clippers, but Stephen Curry sure seemed like a one-man show as he worked his way through four defenders with a dazzling display of dribbling before casually landing a step-back three-pointer. It didn’t matter what team you’d betted excessively on was your favorite. Everybody in that place was cheering what might very well remain the best NBA moves that they’ll ever see during a game.
Seriously, even Coach Kerr couldn’t figure out what his star player had just pulled off…
Take a look for yourself–over and over again, as you try to figure out what’s happening before your eyes. We’re sure there are lots of Clippers pondering the same thing…
