Indiana University student Andrew Thrall has been arrested after police seized 1000 Xanax pills shipped from Canada to the Alpha Chi Omega sorority house. According to authorities, a sister there was Thrall’s “girlfriend, or at least an acquaintance” and was supposed to deliver the package to Thrall.
Andrew has been formally charged with dealing a schedule IV drug (a level 3 felony in Indiana) which could result in three to 20 years in prison and/or a fine of $10,000.
After Andrew, a Delta Tau Delta brother, had been arrested with the pills in hand the police served a search warrant at his fraternity house where they found an Ecstasy pill, some LSD, weed edibles, and $2K in cash that Andrew stupidly admitted he made via selling Xanax.
Officials say that they had been tracking the case since November.
