Leonardo DiCaprio may have just landed the role of a lifetime.
The 40-year-old actor is reportedly set to tackle the role as Billy Milligan, the first person to successfully use multiple personality disorder as a defense in a court of law.
In the 1970’s, Milligan pleaded not guilty to two rapes and a robbery in Ohio.
The star has been eyeing the role for nearly 20 years, with the project being talked about around Hollywood for decades.
Yet now that DiCaprio’s production company, Appian Way, is set to co-produce the film with New Regency, The Crowded Room could soon become reality. As could that Oscar.
