Ronda Rousey went up against Cat Zingano last night to defend her UFC title, and we think the sexy staredown lasted longer than the fight. It took the brawling blonde about 12 whole seconds to get Cat to submit via a straight armlock. That was after Zingano tried to lead the fight with a flying knee that didn’t work out real well. Ronda caught Cat in midflight, got her down to the floor, and then got that armlock down in a move that was sheer poetry in motion.
We know “poetry in motion” is kind of a stupid term, but we were trying to type all that in less time than it took Ronda Rousey to defend her title. We’re pretty sure it took us a lot more effort, too. It’s early on a Sunday, you know. Anyway, check out this GIF that crams in the action twice…
