A Massachusetts resident is cashing in on the insane amount of snow they’ve gotten this winter by selling his mounds to people living in warmer climates.
Kyle Waring, of Manchester-by-the-Sea, is selling six pounds of snow for the low price of $89 on his newly launched site ShipSnowYo.com. With that name, we’re already sold.
What about melting, you ask? Waring, being the entrepreneur genius that he is, has that covered. In his original business plan, the New Englander was selling 16.9-ounce snow-filled bottles for $19.99, but found that the snow was completely melted by the time it arrived to its destination. Of course the melting problem can’t be totally solved, but with six pounds worth of snow, Waring guarantees at least 10 to 15 snowballs.
He’s also started offering 10-pound packages priced at $119 for the fiscally responsible (and by responsible we mean really, really stupid people who enjoy throwing their money away).
