Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps has finally proposed to longtime girlfriend (and former Miss California) Nicole Johnson. The pair made it official on their respective social media accounts last night. The couple have been on-again off-again the past few years, but it seems that they’re finally ready to settle down and tie the knot.
Johnson is a former beauty queen from Westlake Village, California and won the Miss California competition in 2010. After being crowned Miss California, she went on to place in the top-ten in the Miss USA pageant of 2010. Aside from her great looks, she’s also a smart cookie. Nicole graduated with honors from USC with a Bachelor’s in Communication.
