The Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning have some decisions to make about what happens for both going into the 2015 season. There were reports from NFL Media on Tuesday morning that Manning is getting ready for a return in 2015 while a second report from Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole said that Denver is uncertain on whether or not they want to bring Manning back again next season or not. It is possible that the team fails Manning during his physical to ensure he doesn’t return. The four neck surgeries that Manning has had must play a huge factor but if he wants to play another season and the neck is close to 100%, why not make one more big run at the Super Bowl? There are plenty of free agents in Denver and they want long-term security but Manning gives the team the best chance to win.
Cole still believes that Manning will “probably” be back next season but the doubt is now creeping into people’s minds about the subject. Manning will turn 39 years old in March and didn’t look like his normal self playing through an injury in this year’s playoffs. Maybe Father Time has caught up to him or maybe he has one final run left in him which hopefully allows Manning to go out on top.
