Olympic skiier and all-around badass Bode Miller was competing at the skiing World Championships today when he took an awful spill, hooking his hand on one of the gates. Watch what happened in this Vine here:
Considering that Bode came back from an injury a little bit early (see badass comment above), people were a little nervous about the whole thing. I mean, it looked BAD.
But how big of a deal could it really have been, right? I mean, Bode’s crashed before. Plus, he even finished the race…
Except, it kind of was bad. One of his skis totally ripped apart his leg. Check out this GNARLY photo of the aftermath.
