Randy Quaid had a bizarre meltdown that he (and his wife Evgenia) immortalized on Youtube with a SFW (and WTF) video–but it took a while to notice because only the Super Bowl could distract America away from this kind of celebrity weirdness.
For those who haven’t been following the exploits of Cousin Eddie from the Vacation movies, he’s been going nuts for a while. Evgenia hasn’t been a good influence, either. There was a long stint where Evgenia was doing the ranting about how Randy was being persecuted for Hollywood, and how there was a conspiracy against the two.
Most people just figured Randy was keeping quiet and enjoying some hot sex. Then he began to act just as nutty, and now Randy and Evgenia are exiled in Canada with their passports because they wouldn’t appear in an American court over vandalism charges, and Randy’s banned from the Actor’s Equity union after the two went to Seattle for some kind of theatrical production. The pair blame the infamous conspiracy boogeymen of Illuminati for their troubles.
There was some talk of Randy maybe returning in the upcoming Independence Day sequel, but that doesn’t seem likely now. This video has Randy ranting about how the money he made for FOX Studios went unappreciated, and then Evgenia puts on a mask so he ca simulate having sex with FOX owner Rupert Murdoch as his revenge.
It’s kind of difficult to describe. You really need to take a look for yourself. It’s Cousin Eddie like you’ve never seen him before–but like you might have imagined if they didn’t keep cleaning him up for the movies….
