Lisa and Ricardo Brown from Spokane, Washington were the target of a hilarious Comcast prank earlier this month after trying to cancel their account. Lisa Brown called the company’s information line requesting the cancellation, and was instantly transferred to a retention specialist who (of course) tried talking her out of her poor decision and into another two-year contract. After a few f-bombs were exchanged (we assume), Lisa was able to overcome the irritating obstacle and cancel her account, but the couple quickly realized Comcast would have the last word when they received their next bill addressed to “Asshole Brown.” After the prank went public, the company offered the couple a full refund for two years of cable service. What a bunch of clever assholes.
