Riley Smith is a completely normal guy who loves to party and drink Bud Light as much as you or me. The only difference is that he’s in the Super Bowl, and you’re not.
Well technically Riley’s in a Super Bowl commercial, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that his face is going to be seen by the 110 million+ people watching the game on TV, and the millions of others who’ve already viewed his “Real Life Pac Man” commercial for Bud Light’s #UpForWhatever campaign.
He’s kind of famous, so we were excited to learn that Riley wanted to stop by our office to shoot some beer pong and walk us through exactly how he became a life-sized Pac Man. Here’s what he had to say about the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
We can’t say enough great things about Riley. As you can see in the video, he’s genuinely stoked on the whole thing which makes the whole campaign even cooler. This guy isn’t a SAG actor. He’s not a paid spokesman. He’s just a guy who’s #UpForWhatever.
Unfortunately in the interest of fair and balanced reporting, we have to divulge that his beer pong game needs a little work. We can’t tell if he lost because he’s been playing too many old school arcade games or if we’re just that good.
