Director Paul Feig, the man behind the Ghostbusters reboot, announced his all-female cast on Twitter last night:
Joining arms with Bridesmaids stars Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, and SNL standouts Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon, Feig also announced that his new film will hit theaters July 22, 2016. While the drop seems lightyears away, at least we can rest assured knowing that these ladies will do the original clan justice. And honestly, we don’t hate that we’d have to call Kristen Wiig in the event of a poltergeist attack.
