Juno 2015 WINTER STORM

The storm–dubbed Winter Storm Juno by The Weather Channel–will hit parts of the Midwest with several inches of snow on Sunday night before making its way east and wreaking havoc from Maine to Eastern Pennsylvania.

“This could be the biggest snowstorm in the history of this city,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said at a Sunday press conference. “My message for New Yorkers is prepare for something worse than we have ever seen before.”

Speaking of messages, Frankie the weatherman has got some important news to tell you.


Winter Storm Juno Updates:

- More than 28 million people, are under a blizzard warning, and another 12 million people are under a winter storm warning.
– From New York City to Boston, could see up to 20 inches of snow Monday into Tuesday, the weather service predicted.
– The Boston Area and other parts of eastern New England are expected to be hit the hardest.
– A coastal flood warning is in effect for the entire Massachusetts shoreline.
– Airlines have cancelled more than 3,900 flights for Monday and Tuesday
– A travel ban will be implemented on all Connecticut roads and highways at 9 p.m. ET Monday.
– Coastal flooding and power outages are likely.

Make sure you have the supplies you need for this potentially historic winter storm. Stack up on:

– Candles/Matches/Lighters
– Batteries
