Canada’s University of Moncton has select staff members up in arms over their newest promotional video, which centers on an array of model-esque students and a couple eager to copulate in the library. Featuring a bunch of sexy coeds sucking face amongst book shelves, attending picturesque bonfires, and cheering on hockey teams is an easy way to lure undergrads into the arms of higher education, but apparently not everyone can get behind the tactic. Marie-Noëlle Ryan, president of the university’s professors’ and librarians’ association, denounced the ad as being “pathetic,” and explained that the undeniably alluring video wasn’t a “way [to] recruit serious students and people who really want to learn and have good diplomas.” Someone sounds a little uptight.
Considering the entire video is in French, we have no idea what they’re actually saying, but going off of the visuals, who cares? Attending a university where you’re bound to run into the next Victoria’s Secret supermodel definitely doesn’t sound like the worst thing in the world. Frankly we’re sold on the French language institution, and we’d be surprised if you weren’t too.
