The Seattle Seahawks just became one of the rare teams who make it back to the Super Bowl to defend their national title–and they owe a lot of that to a fake field goal. Jon Ryan kept the Seahawks going as contenders by tossing the ball to Garry Gilliam in in the end zone for a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers.
In the process, the Seahawks also confused a cheesehead with a great view of the game. You can keep admiring that smooth transition by Ryan, but don’t miss out on the fan in the foam hat who can’t figure out if he should be cheering the move.
Maybe he was just excited to see a quality play, and it’s kind of touching how he ends up high-fiving a Seahawks fan. It’s a nice reminder that you don’t have to get all wrapped up in your own team winning, right? Or maybe the camera cut away right before a brawl started. We don’t know, but it’s worth watching over and over (in beautiful HD that takes an extra second to load)…
