Anyway, Pixie Lott is high on our list of UK pop stars who need to break out as big as Rita Ora and Charli XCX. She’s already had a lot more longevity than anyone expected when Pixie first came along in 2008. She was only 16 years old when L.A. Reid signed her to a contract. She’s had plenty of hits since then, although Pixie’s been trying to score on the American charts since 2010’s “Boys and Girls.”
Pixie kept her homeland fan base going with a very hot stint on Strictly Come Dancing last year. That’s the UK equivalent of Dancing With the Stars. She’s also kept up plenty of exposure by being a regular presence in FHM magazine’s regular listing of the 100 Sexiest Women.
