According to Tinker Hatfield, the designer of the Nike Air MAG’s featured on the feet of Marty McFly in Back to the Future Part 2, 2015 is officially going be the year we see these shoes in real life–complete with power laces.
Tinker made the announcement at #AgendaEmerge on Monday night.
Some of you might recall that back in 2011, Nike released a very-limited edition of the sneakers but they were missing the important power lace component. Yes, Kanye West owns a pair.
Thankfully, the 2015 editions will feature the power laces and website NiceKicks has actually dug up the “Power Lace” patent papers on how exactly they’ll work.
