You’d think the world of fashion would be quiet as the new year starts–but you’d also think Gemma Ward’s career would be quiet after the awesome Aussie took a six-year break from the scene. Instead, Gemma Ward had a big announcement as the 27-year-old announced her serious return to modeling with a Prada campaign. Gemma Ward had officially began a comeback with a Prada appearance earlier this year, of course, but this new Spring campaign is an official comeback.
Gemma has even proven that she still has the clout to sign with the same people representing Kate Upton, Gisele Bundchen, and Miranda Kerr. That means a lot of people are assuming that Gemma is walking right back to the runways as a real supermodel. We’re sorry if this means that we’lll see less of Gemma Ward on the big screen, like her turn as a mermaid in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
