The big buzz around college football as 2014 ends is Michigan getting Jim Harbaugh to leave the San Francisco 49ers to come back to Ann Arbor. After the team announced that Harbaugh would be their next head coach, the team decided that they were going to cash in as much as possible on Harbaugh being there. It is clearly obvious that Michigan needed a jolt of excitement after some very bad seasons inside the Big House. Harbaugh brings a certain dynamic and now fans can look like Harbaugh when the Wolverines play their first game at home next season with their Harbaugh No. 4 jersey and khakis to wear….
The school should welcome everyone to wear that to the home opener on Sept. 12 against Oregon State. Right now, though, the jerseys won’t have Harbaugh’s name on the back of them but that could be coming in the coming weeks and months depending on what rights Harbaugh gives to the university. There are definitely some more fun times ahead for the folks at Michigan and in Ann Arbor itself. Sales of khaki pants around town are about to go up.
