It’s kind of cool to see veteran character actor George Kennedy back on the big screen in The Gambler, but that’s not our favorite thing about the new Mark Wahlberg drama. It’s also fun to see a ’70s sleeper getting a new shot at a remake–although we think you’re better off tracking down the original with James Caan for some real existential brooding. What we really, really recommend about The Gambler is an amazing cast of COED favorites in all kinds of sexy roles. Your money is well spent to enjoy a night at the multiplex with beauties like Caitlin O’Connor, Anne McDaniels, Natalija Ugrina, Sonya Walger, Cassandra Starr, and Raquel Pomplun (who’s already a big winner as a Playmate of the Year). You can add Alexandra Vino to that stellar cast, too. We’ve had an eye on this particular Vino ever since the 2010 short A Cat in Heat–which is about a hot babe and a geeky comic-book writer, so that made the rounds of all the comic-book guys we know. Alexandra Vino was the titular cat, and we kept following her paw prints from there. She had a fairly regular role on the HBO series How To Make It in America for a while, and Alexandra has been working pretty steadily.
