Topps Trading Cards of the characters from the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer have been released–including the ball droid that was the subject of the first Episode VII tattoo--meaning that we’ve got our first REAL information on what and who to expect in the movie.
• The “ball droid” is BB-8
• Oscar Isaac is “Poe Dameron”
• The Sith is “Kylo Ren”
• Daisy Ridley is “Rey”
• John Boyega is “Finn”
A lot of fans on message boards, Twitter, and reddit are a little confused about the names. To put it bluntly, they’re not very happy.
I can’t really say that I’m entirely in disagreement, particularly with the name “Kylo Ren.” That doesn’t sound very Sith-like at all, does it? BUT one person on Twitter has pointed out that Kylo Ren could be the characters birth name, not what he goes by after he calls himself a sith.
So does that mean that the three-way lightsaber reveal is actually the first time he’s used the weapon? We’ll have to wait and see.

So, about these photos. First of all, we’re big fans of the fact that they’re doing these again. It’s a nice tip of the hat to the movies to come before it. Even more so, kudos on the style and not trying out some new sh*t.
