The NFL makes the trip to Mexico for an AFC West clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers on Monday, November 18 to wrap up a busy Week 11 on Monday Night Football at Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca.
Last year’s game between the two teams was originally scheduled for Mexico City, but less than a week before kickoff it was relocated to Los Angeles because the playing surface was not up to par. With the do-over, the Chiefs and Chargers are hoping they avoid any issues with the turf.
“Everything that I’ve been told has been positive,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said, via ESPN.com.
Kansas City enters the game as a slight five-point favorite over their division rivals.
