The second College Football Playoff rankings of the 2019 season were released on Tuesday, November 12, and we now have a new No. 1. After upending the Alabama Crimson Tide in a high-profile SEC clash in Week 11, the LSU Tigers leapfrogged the Ohio State Buckeyes for the top spot. The Buckeyes slipped to No. 2.

After suffering their loss, Alabama fell from No. 3 to No. 5, with the Clemson Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs each benefitting by moving up to No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.

The Oregon Ducks, Utah Utes, Minnesota Golden Gophers, Penn State Nittany Lions and Oklahoma Sooners sit within striking distance as the season winds down with spots inside of the top 10. Oklahoma has one of the best chances to improve their ranking this weekend when they take on fellow unbeaten Big 12 program Baylor, which is currently ranked No. 13.
