Ibraheem Yazeed has been identified as a suspect in the disappearance of 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard, the stepdaughter of UFC fighter Walt Harris. Blanchard was last seen on October 24 and Yazeed was reportedly seen in the same area where she was last spotted, according to NBC 4.
The 30-year-old Yazeed, who is 5-foot-10, 220 pounds, is considered armed and dangerous.
In 2012, Yazeed was arrested and charged with the attempted murder of a police officer after he rammed his car into a patrol car carrying to officers. Yazeed was never indicted on the charge and is currently out on bond. He also has a previous charge of kidnapping.
The Auburn Police Department currently has a warrant out for Yazeed’s arrest.
Blanchard is a student at Southern Union State Community College. Shortly after her disappearance, Harris, who is the No. 10 heavyweight in the UFC, took to social media to ask for help finding his stepdaughter.
UFC president Dana White also joined in the efforts to help find Aniah, offering a $25,000 reward for information that will help locate her and hold those responsible for her disappearance responsible.
“We just want our daughter home,” said Angela Harris, Blanchard’s mother, told WIAT.
