The Ultimate Fighting Championship wrapped up a trip to the Big Apple on Saturday, November 2 with UFC 244 live from Madison Square Garden. In the main event, Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz battled it out for the Baddest Motherf*cker (BMF) title. After three brutal rounds, Masvidal was able to take home the belt when the cageside physician stepped in and called in to end the fight.
For their efforts, both Masvidal and Diaz took home a reported $500,000 — though the actual figure will likely be higher with pay-per-view points.
Other fighters who reportedly earned six-figures on the night include main card fighters Stephen Thompson, Darren Till, Kelvin Gastelum, Kevin Lee, Derrick Lewis, and Corey Anderson.
The figures released do not include any money from outside sponsors. UFC 241 purses also exclude any locker room bonuses and required Reebok outfitting pay, but do figure in the $50,000 for Fight of the Night and Performance of the night bonuses.
