Boxing champion Errol Spence Jr. was rushed to the hospital early Thursday morning after his Ferrari flipped in a horrific high-speed crash in Dallas, Texas. His identifty was not immediately revealed, but sources later revealed he was the “high-profile man” involved in the crash.
The 29-year-old unified welterweight champion was reportedly ejected from the vehicle and is in serious condition.
“At 2:53am a Ferrari traveling at a high rate of speed northbound in the 500 S. Riverfront Blvd,” the Dallas Police Department said in a statement. “The Ferrari veered left over the center median onto the southbound lanes and flipped multiple times ejecting the driver who was not wearing a seatbelt.”
The good news is that Spence is expected to survive despite suffering “serious injuries.”

Spence recently competed in a high-profile match on September 28 against Shawn Porter at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. He holds a professional record of 26-0 with 21 knockouts and is the IBF and WBC welterweight champion. Spence first won the IBF welterweight championship in 2017. and successfully defended the title against Lamont Peterson in New York, Carlos Ocampo in Frisco, Texas, and Mikey Garcia at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
