Lupita Nyong’o is making the media rounds ahead of the release of Little Monsters which drops on Hulu on Friday, October 11. During her most recent media run, Lupita stopped by The Tonight Show to chop it up with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots.

During her appearance, the Us and Rise of Skywalker star revealed her alter-ego “Troublemaker” to the national audience and revealed a hidden talent.

As it turns out, along with being a standout actress Lupita can also spit some bars on the mic.

To showcase her skills as an emcee, she was joined by The Roots to drop a quick freestyle after going into full character with some sunglasses.

Not too shabby.

Little Monsters, meanwhile, is a horror-romance film which premiered at Sundance Film Festival back in January and is now set to make its Hulu debut. We’ll have to see if the project continues Nyong’o’s impressive run on the silver screen.

In 2016, she would record the voice for Raksha, a mother wolf, in Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book. Following that, she would reprise her role as Maz Kanata in 2017’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Her latest film, Marvel Studios’ Black Panther saw her co-star as Nakia, a member of a top-secret, all-female spy force for the fictional nation of Wakanda. The film has been a box office smash, and Nyong’o has earned rave reviews for her performance.

She has recently announced that she is breaking into writing and is working on developing a new TV series that she will produce and star in. In addition, she will star in the horror-romance film Little Monsters, written and directed by Abe Forsythe.
