Summer Walker has dropped her highly-anticipated debut album Over It. The Atlanta singer’s album comes after her breakout project Last Day of Summer in 2018. Over It checks in with a whopping 18 tracks and includes a number of high-profile features.
Included on the album are features from Drake, Usher, Jhene Aiko, Bryson Tiller, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, 6LACK, and PARTNEXTDOOR.
Getting a Drake co-sign is a big moment for the up-and-comer, and it all came together after he decided to slide into her DMs.
“I think [Drake] slid into the DMs and was like, ‘I saw your video on a bowling alley monitor—thought it was cool,’” she said, via Billboard. “And then Justice [Baiden, co-founder her record label LVRN] made me ask him [to hop on the song] and he said yes.”
