The latest season of the long-running CBS hit series Survivor returns on Wednesday, September 25. The season, dubbed as Island of the Idols, with Sandra Diaz-Twine, winner of Survivor: Pearl Islands and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, and “Boston Rob” Mariano, winner of Survivor: Redemption Island, serving as mentors for the contestants.
The coaches will reportedly not be entering the game at any time as contestants.
Among the contestants are Tom Laidlaw, a former NHL player, who is the first Canadian citizen to appear on the show, professional poker player Ronnie Bardah, and Elizabeth Beisel, an Olympic swimmer who won silver and bronze at the 2012 Olympics in London.
